Like I've said in other forums... there is much I know but I only respond when asked. The Fl Seminoles will have to stand tall and make the right decisions in the best interest for all and not just a few.
I know they will!

Looks like the Cypress bros are helping themselves to the goodie bag that should belong to all the Seminoles.
Think the Tribe better wake up and boot their asses to the everglades! Didn't Indian Chief Billie do the same thing???
I am AMAZED at the number of people in a "position of power" that are UNAWARE of all the money being scammed here......bet their bank accounts would tell a different story! I would start with BIttner. GET OUT THOSE TOMAHAWKS AND START COLLECTING SOME SCALPS!!!

THIS IS GETTING GOOD...I LOVE GREED AND CORRUPTION!

Ask yourself why is the Sun Sentinel trying to discredit the Fl Seminoles? What is their motive? They will deal with their own issues and do not need outside input from people who are not concerned for them. So basically mind your own business and let the Seminoles mind theirs they have earned the right.

Let's look at the corruption in America's corporations where the corp. heads or CEO's get millions in pay and benefits or how much money sports figures receive. Don't you think those salaries should be lower? Oh how about the sprawling ranch of Pres. George W. Bush.

Yes Billie did the same thing, spend money on himself and became a dictator like castro. Everytime you chop the head off of one greedy ass another one grows in its place and does the same thing.. you can't trust any politician! Access to too much money for to long is bound to get spent this way, if your like Bill Gates and make your money individually than yeah sure buy a huge house, nice cars, diamond earrings, and basketball courts and take care of your family but lavish yourself from your own money not the tribes money! Sorry but trouble follows you in greedy politics.

Well, for starters, a smoke screen - to draw attention to the Tribe's gaming interests and their new compact with the State. Discredit them, get the "boys and girls in Tally" to shoot it down; or to discredit them and get the general public to turn against them so the racino's can 1) cut their taxes ("to level the playing field") or, 2) get table games.

I am sure the Sun-Sentinel could really care less about the spending...but it is to the interest of "others" to cast a cloud over the Tribe and their business dealings.

From what I am reading... I have not seen where any member of the Tribe has been turned down for any request for money...regardless of the amount..YET! The Tribal Nation seems to be quite happy with the arrangements.

I for one do not think it is any of my business. I wish them the best of luck, and have "supported" them by visiting Hard Rock on numerous occasions. I must say, I have never stepped foot in a racino...and most likely never will.

Dictating to the Tribal Nation is like telling France, or any other nation, how to spend their money. They have a "product" to sell, if you do not like it or what they do with THEIR profits, do not go there, do not support them. It is that pure and simple.

Hey, the white men took their "COUNTRY", let them build whatever they want!!!!

As long as it is equally available to all Seminoles.

God knows there's plenty of cash rolling in for all.

Tee Pees were made by the Native Americans of the Great Plains. Not Seminoles.

And the purpose to this story is? It is none of our business how much money they make and what they do with it. Let's ask how much the reporters on this story are making, or the editor and publisher. And what they do with their money.
Any accountability is up to the Tribal members. If there are that many who don't like how the money is being spent then they vote the person out of office. Just like in Hollywood. Oops. Bad example.
I wonder if there would be all this interest if instead of gaming the Tribe had been successful in another business such as furniture making or computer technology. I think not.
I hope this paper will also write about the charities the Tribe contributes to. Such as the Boys and Girls Club, the Ann Storck Center and all the toys they give to children in the community at Christmas. Also, how much of the gaming money goes to their internal departments such as public safety, housing, health care and education.
