Just depends on what you are looking for. If you want a safe quite place to get an education. It is fine. If you want a social place with alot to do, I would look elsewhere. The athletic teams are always in last place and the athletic facilities are horrible. There has been some renovations on campus but alot more needs done. It just depends on what you are looking for.

Thanks, that is what I heard from others as well. I knew that they are really bad in sports but that is not my thing, I was just interested in the education part.

Could you tell me about the dorms, are they in good condition. Also how many students go there?
Sure

Most of the dorms are ran down, not in real good shape. About 500 or so, probably smaller than your high school go there. Just schedule a visit. I wouldn't go there without checking it out personally. Just not a very nice place at all but there are some good folks there.

Well, I have been to five colleges and as far as their dorms if you are a girl. They are great! There is NOTHING to do there and they are WAY too hung up on chapel. It's a required thing. I go there but I would transfer if I weren't already so far along. I go to church. And don't have a problem with chapel, but to make it required is stupid. They don't make church required in the real world. It's your choice. And chapel should be too especially since your payin them!

The best college I have been to that I should have stayed at was MSU! And btw unless your of Baptist denomination, BMC who claims to be Christian school treats you as if you are an outcast.

It could be worse for athletics like a Dyersburg State or Jackson State, at least they are a four year real athletic program.

Do yourself a favor, Wondering, and go to U of M or another public college. It's way cheaper, and you'll be better prepared for living in the real world than you would if you go to BMC or any other church-affiliated college. If you really want a Baptist/Evangelical college, try Union. There's much more educational choice up there from what I've heard.
BTW, I went to a Southern Baptist junior high, high school, and college and I'm now an athiest. Being at BMC had a lot to do with my decision to leave the church. Jus' sayin'.

A lot of the McNairy athletes seem to go there. Nothing wrong if you are getting a little scholarship aid and that is the best you can do.

I sure wouldn't pay to attend that school though. It is a dump and the gym is worse than any junior high gym I have ever seen.

I went there for a time. NOTHING good to say about the school, dorms, town and especially athletics. About like attending a small, stict, sucky high school.

Take it from someone who went for a time. DONT GO! It is like going from high school back to junior high but this time junior high is stricter, nastier and the sports teams are suckier. Better options in any direction you look.
