My husband and I went there there one morning and got some breakfast. Well I asked the waitress how much it would be to add a waffle to a meal. She told me $0.99. I was like okay, no big deal and ordered it. So we get our my food and everything. After we get done eating, we go to pay for it. Well we noticed after they rung everything up that something didnt ring up right. We go back and look at our receipt. And they charged us full price for the waffle. We went back up to the register, and nicely told them about their mistake. So the waitress got an really bad attitude, rolled her eyes and told the manager that it rung up wong. Then the manager sits there and says "I dont know how to fix that!!!" I looked at her name tag, and thought "and your manager??????" The manager says " well i guess I'll just have to mash buttons untill I figure out how to fix this!" So Then the waitress comes up to us VERY RUDLY and says "here's two dollars out of my pocket TAKE IT AND GO ON!!!!!" She is lucky I was in a good mood. Or else I probably would've gone off on her. My point is that was very rude, and the manager was standing right there and didnt say anything about it. I mean there were people standing around us that was looking at eachother like dang, and in shock that they talked to us like that. I thought about calling the district, and letting them know about this, but I'm not sure.. What does everyone else think?

i think you should every since that place has been renovated there prices have gone up it isnt a pleasant place to go anymore

Its totally gone downhill since The Fowler's don't own it anymore. Both times my husband and I were in there this passed month we never got refills, they were rude, and it took forever to get our food. Also, I cannot stand the way the girls treat Calvin. He may have a mental disability, but he is a God made human being, just like them! I will not go back!

The waitress over the waffle deal was not rude. if anything you should thank her that you got your money back. they do not have to take money from their tips to fix mistakes. as for the manager, she is new to the POS system just like everyone else. there are times when you go in any restaurant and a mistake is made. we tried to correct ours the only way we knew how at that time. the money was given back for the overcharge and then some. of course i guess none of you have ever started a new job and made a mistake. glad to know there are such perfect people out there in the world. congratulations!!!

selmer huddle house has no control over the pricing and we are very sorry for the increases. that is controlled by the corporate offices. we have been trying to adjust to the changes just like everyone else has and are hoping to have all the kinks worked out for the most part. all i can say is don't give up yet. we love our customers and try to take care of them when they visit us. not all employees there are bad and to judge all by one is not fair. i do hope you will give us another chance. thank you

It is so easy for other people to judge everyone else...Get a life!!!!!!!!!Leave hard working people alone...IT looks like to me that its always busy, whats one more judgmental person not comin back mean?? less stress....I love eating there. my food is always good, servers always nice...You were probly the rude one!

For those who read this and understood what I was saying, Thank you :) I wasnt being rude or even trying to be rude. I was stating what happened.@ Just tired to fix that- yes I have started a new job, and I Know how it can be. And even though, the manager was trying to fix it, the waitress could've been a whole lot nicer than what she was. She could've gave it to us without being rude. Its not what she said. It's how she said it! Im not upset at the manager, i may have seemed upset, but I think i was more ticked at the waitress and the way she was talking to us. She had an bad attitude that whole time we were there. I dont know if she was having a bad day or not. But if she was she doesn't need to take it out on the customers. Its a bad influence.

and "New comer"dont know if you were stating that towards me. But you know if you were there and seen the way we were treated you would know! so keep your comments to yourself please. If you dont like what I am saying, then STAY OFF AND QUIT COMMENTING! and no we weren't rude to anyone. We were actually really nice about it. Im surprised I was. But I happened to be in a really good mood. So no it wasn't us that was rude. It was the Waitress in Huddle House, and it was UNCALLED FOR!!!! thanks :) Have a good evening :)

WOW....how can you people make it thru a day. It sounds like to me y'all don't like change. I understand when you get bad service being upset but as for name calling you must be pretty bored to put down hard working people like y'all are doing. As far as the Huddle House going down since the previous owners you're messed up because from what I've heard and seen with my own eyes it is better than it was. The servers don't have to usethe old timey register and they are more efficient on time and the ladies that work there ARE NOT sluts. Shame on you for saying such a thing. What kind of person does that make you saying such a thing about those ladies? I would say maybe youvlikes the way theprevious owner treated his wife and the other employees. Well, I am a paying customer also and i didn't like he way he would tell his wife in front of everyone in the store to shut up and cuss her and the employees. Maybe you all like that kind of talk but that is discussing ti me and alot of other people, if you had any morals you wouldn't like that kind of atmosphere to take your family into. Palau know that the Selmer policewoyldnt even go in there while the previous owner ran it butcniw they do. Imagine that. Huddle House is an awesome place to eat and they have a great manager and employees. You are always going ti make mistakes and you are always going to have people who go out to eat and some will complain no matter how good the service is because they just want something for free. The new owners seem to be very nice and professional people. I met the District Manager while she was in town and she was very nice and professional. You can tell when the owners care about their customers because they take the time to introduce themselves to he guest. I also noticed while she was here how the previous owner and his sidekick talked about this lady and would call her names when she would come into the restaurant but she didn't let them bother her she just kept smiling and was very professional. Jalap heard the comment that the previous owner's sidekick made and I quote "we are use to everyone kissing our a?? And she won't that is why we don't like her" I think we have some male shovanestuc wants be's that has nothing better to do then to bash women. ALL I CAN SAY IS.......get a real life and job then you can talk about someone else....WoooooHoooooo.....Have a blessed day to all of you out here in judgeville. I hope you all that's clapping their jaws can understand what a real job is like!!!

I've never had this kind of service. The service has always been great when my husband and I have eaten there.
