who="Grapefrut"]This is McNairy County,,we really need to be talking about planks in a platform. After the election it will still be suck as McNairy County. I vote Thursday. BTW.. I dont belive either one could use a hammer and nail.

----------
Hey Voter,,you must have forgot what i posted..You see i said either one. It wili be two years until this will have to be voted on again. so lets see if Ronnie has record to run on,such as unemployment rate, higher wages for McNairy county citizens, not McNairy County Gov employees, and New Industry. My bet is it may be lemons instead of Grapefruit. Ronnie has the chance to be the best County Mayor, I don't know of one that can run on a record. Do you?

This is a long time coming and it has been earned on your part. This may be considered non-sportsmanship conduct but what the heck. How puckered are them lips now from sucking on that grapefruit. Chomp, chomp, gobble, gobble, yum, yum, Ronnie beat the snot out of you and this will be my last post on Topix. Looks like the repubs sold you short and voted for the best man for the job. Careful next time you run for a political office and keep it off Topix. You lost!!!
Well at least you admit the republicans are the ones that elected him!

Got to have the last word don't you?. Election is over and you lost. Apparently all of Ronnie's republican supporters DO NOT share your opinion of him as the final total votes prove. Much larger republican voter turn out that there was democrat voter turn out. The citizens of McNairy county have decided who they want as mayor. That is what counts. See you later SUCKER!!!

Congratulations to Betty Ashes re-elected. Congratulations to Tammy Dillon who will have Ronnies vacated office. Congratulations to Ronnie. It is very obvious by the number of registered republicans voting that the republicans elected you also. Try to remember that.
There's one of those Lipfords wanting Ronnie's office too. What a joke! This county has already supported their old daddy for over 20 years, tge taxpayers sure don't owe a second generation of Lupfords a living!! Gotta be a joke, right??

Why don't you just give it up? Cauley lost. Ronnie won. Go on now and go find something else to entertain yourself with. You would be surprised just how many people wake up to Topix with their coffee every morning or check into Topix prior to going to bed. You should know first hand as you have been obsessed with a Topix addiction from the get go. If you don't think this "slaughter Ronnie's character on Topix" campaign cost Tom some votes, think again. Two years from now, should Tom try to run again, try a clean campaign without the Topix. Nothing good has ever come out of Topix. And, no matter how hard it is to resist a comeback, don't do it. You leave yourself wide open for another comeback. Have a great night and remember, for additional information email me at [email protected] LMAO all the way to bed.

@ Grapefruit. I read one of your posts above where you said we'll elect another Mayor in two years.

My friend the County Mayor's term is and always has been four years. If Mr. Brooks resigns or God forbid, dies in office a new Mayor will be appointed by the County Commission to fill the remainder of his term.

Please get your facts straight before you go spouting off on here, OK ?

Patriot this was a special election bc the former mayor resigned last year to go to work for gov haslam. So there will be another election in 14. That election will be for four years.
