Please be mindful that a young, 15 year old boy was severly injured and his parents are absolutely terrified right now.
Maybe it was dumb but I'm sure we all did really stupid things at 15.

If anything, blame MCall's reporting of the story. The way they reported it, they made it sound like he got just a scratch. I think there would've been more sympathy had they reported the proper truth.
