I have a hard time believing that they had no choice but to wait. The exit for 65 south was open because I went to work that way around 7am. They had 1 lane shut down on the North bound side, but you could still drive. People make such a big deal over something so small. That area has always been prone to flooding.

You obviously do not live there. I live in Sellersburg off Popp Avenue, on the same side of 31 as the Cracker Barrel and Dairy Queen. Every time it rains like this, we cannot leave or get into our subdivision, even though there are 3 entrances. The first two consistently flood and although you can get out of the third, 31 floods and is shut off in both directions.

Yes, I do live there and have all my life.

You must be talking about the houses behind the Circle K correct? It is usually shut down by Villa Dr or further down than that, going South towards the bowling alley. Hwy 31 has never been shut down by Jim O'neils going towards Dairy Queen that I can remember anyway. I drive pass there everyday. Now I was on vacation in June when we got all the rain, and it could have been shut down at that time, but I can honestly say I have never seen it closed by Jim O'Neil going towards the DQ.

My cousin was going to by a house in your neighborhood and they decided not to, because they found out that it was in a flood plain and was going to pay an arm and a leg to get insurance. It is a shame, because there are some nice homes there. Does any of those houses back there flood? Just curious.

I once read about this one time when Ozzy banged some chick in Squirrel's sleeping bag. Naturally Squirrells burned the sleeping bag. This happened at Cooters Hole. You can read about it on www.InCootershole.com .

I heard the 'flooding' is actually all the untreated sewage that the town of Sellersburg releases into the 'storm sewers' when it rains. This way they don't have to pay to have the sewer treated. After extensive testing it has been found to be safe to drink. So quit your complaining and fill up your water bottles. Whiners.

Basically all the homes in the area effected are sure to never need a humidifier. There's always a positive side. You pesimists need to see the glass half full sometimes. You make me sick. Sellersburg gives you free drinking water and what do you do, you whine about it. I never seen the like.

Det. Gardner of the Sellersburg Police Department has been accused of statatory rape of a female donkey. This according to WHAS, allegedly occured this afternoon, in the cold frozen flooded water in Sellersburg. Asked for comment was Jim O'Neal. "I just got done visiting the DairyQueen, and looked over and there was this cop, balls deep in a donkey!!! I am outraged!', said Mr. O'Neal.

Great Scott. How can they be so careless? All Sellersburg needs is a bolt of Lightning to create the 1.21 jiggawatts to power the flux capacitor. It's what makes time travel possible!
