Something brought up at the trial? It is not a matter of some small technicality, is it?
Other experts do not find that the blood evidence is conclusive. Nor, of itself, did it convince the juries. From: http://www.newsandtribune.com/davidcamm/local... “Medical evidence tying David Camm to the molestation of his daughter — and providing a motive for why he killed his family — was a “key factor” in the jury’s decision to convict the former state trooper, according to the jury’s foreman.” He later attempted to retract this, as noted above (post 220). Mr Crowell:“If it had been only the impact spatter, I think we would have had a much longer discussion.” We are sure this jury could reliably decide which experts were wrong? The ones with $300,000+ from the prosecution, or the ones with much less from the defence? What could go wrong?:-) We now know the crime took place after 7:30pm and that Mr Camm was chatting to Mr Jolly at 8:10pm. The blood specks (which is how they are described) are tiny, but would have been visible. Too few too see, but plenty to convict him? That does not seem to be the consensus view of experts. Interpretation of Blood spatter is an opinion. Ex-cop Mr Englert seems a very popular figure with prosecutors in the USA, but he is not particularly highly qualified. Though a member of the AAFS and (ex) IABPA, http://www.ccrpc.org/police/instructors/engle... he has been in trouble before, notably in the Brent Hartmann case. Some experts have tried to have him censured by the AAFS. He does not seem nearly so well respected amongst other forensic experts as he is with these ‘Home Run Hitters’ USA and, indeed, has no formal science education. It seems clearly unreasonable to place too much reliance on his views, yet that is exactly what the authorities did. They did not find Boney, because they did not investigate competently and were too ready to believe all Mr Englert’s assurances regarding Mr Camm. Backed up as these theories were by Englert’s organisation and connections, like Bevel and Stites, one understands this, but one should not accept or condone it. http://www.zoominfo.com/people/Henderson_Keit... (Not only were these authorities’ actions not investigated, they got an ‘award’) It seems clear that Mr E has overstepped a mark on this occasion, overstating what can safely be deduced from these blood specks. Quote:“An earlier court ruling said prosecutors had to have more evidence than not that Camm molested his daughter before saying that in court. Floyd County Prosecutor Keith Henderson said his experts provided “the conclusive medical evidence” that the kindergartner had been molested prior to the murders, and her father was the most reasonable suspect.” It seems that the molestation evidence was highly misleading and has, in part, led to his conviction. Otherwise, that would have been interesting. There are many cases of a father molesting his child, but none of a womaniser becoming an incestuous paedophile at age 36. And this ex-cop became the most remarkable sociopath in history too, considering the circumstances of his conversation with Mr Jolly. So the blood evidence clearly does not prove his presence at the crime. Mr Englert and co just insist it does. Now, please answer the questions? |

just because he has been a criminal his whole life doesnt mean that david wasnt right there. this monster isnt stupid, he has you fooled. he knew just what he was doing involving boney. david camm is NOT INNOCENT! NOT INNOCENT |

For all of the people on here that just want to keep beating the David is guilty drum....The ISC has once again decided that the 2nd trial of David was not a fair trial, and so therefore the ISC has decided to overturn his 2nd conviction, the State of Indiana has exhusted all of the appeals process, so now Henderson will need to decide to re-try david, or let him go free....For those who want to think that there was so much evidence against david, I would hope you would realize that the ISC has been in the belly of the beast of this case twice, and both times they have overturned these convictions....So David had never been convicted of murder, he has been a innocent man in prision for 9+ years, I just hope that if any of the neysayers out there find themselves being railroaded by any state that they will also have a fair supreme court hearing there appeals....
DAVID CAMM IS INNOCENT....time to let him go home. |

1 Boney acted alone. He is known to have been at the scene of the crime. He is a confessed liar, yet people believe him when he says that Camm pulled the trigger - and just why should we believe a liar! We the people must get smart. On the other hand, David Camm has many witnesses who saw him during the time of the murders. He has consistently said the same thing about the blood on his shirt and shoes. The defense had real blood spatter experts who confirmed Camm's version of how he got Jill's blood on his shirt. The prosecutors and trial judges have blown this whole matter, and they should all be held accountable for their errors. It's amazing that they have not had to answer twice for not complying with rules of court. Investigations should be made and heads should roll. If Camm is released he should sue for damages. We the citizens must keep a watchful eye on our officials. David Camm, bless you, and may you somehow find relief, as you grieve the loss of your family. |

Yeah Right Truth Seeker! You might watch what your smoking and drinking these days.
I seriously doubt that our police investigators (second set - FRESH EYES) and Keith Henderson our prosecutor(second one as well) are all so HELL bent on convicting David Camm that they are ignoring the evidence. Truth is that the evidence points to David Camm's guilt. The blood splatter ALONE puts him at the scene during the murders. The supreme court DID NOT declare him innocent. They just granted him a new trial based on technicalities during the trial. Nevermind ALL the other incrimanting things that point to the fact that David Camm is GUILTY and will most likely be found GUILTY again. You really think they are just going to DROP the case and let this heartless killer go free without trying him for a 3rd time? Get a clue and a grip on the reality that David Camm is anything but innocent.

TECHNICALITIES!!!!!
This is what you get when you vote for scum state reps!!! |
||||
You don't need to be rich to be a killer. And obviously don't have to have a lot of money to get a defense team like he had either when we are the ones having to pay for it! Why we have to sit back and listen again and pay for another trial is just pure craziness. I could understand if they have some point blank in your face evidence that he did not do it and can prove it this time, Then yes by all means give the man another chance, but until then why waste taxpayers money to listen to the same sorry excuses we heard before that convicted him not once but twice. |

Just to beat the conpiracy theorist to the punch:
Keith Henderson has a signed book deal. Clearly he is out to make money and has a bias. He will convict David Camm just so he can sell his book and make money - HELL, he probably murdered the Camm family and set David up to take the fall. |
||||
Such an intelligent answer. NOT. Why not right a book? Hell, some say Bonaey was trying to do the same thing. If anyone should not be able to profit off of this it sure as hell sure be Boney and Camm. Anyone else, who cares. I just hope whoever does get a book out there has Camm still in jail and this crap is done for good. |
||||
|
Go Keith Go!!!
|
||||
|
I personally think a book needs to be written about the injustice that has happened to this man...And by the way when the ISC overturns a conviction that means that the trial was so unfair that that conviction does not stand up....So just because 2 juries convicted him on lies and made up evidence by the state and by the Liar for Hire, does not make David a murder....I personally think that 3rd times the charm and he will be aquitted and then double jeapordy will step in and he will be free from this nightmare that he and his family have been living for 9+ years...And then Kim, Brad and Jill can finaly rest in peace..I would like to see both of these prosecutors charged with prosocutor midsconduct for the way they have handeled both trials...And as far as the book deal that Henderson had in the works, since this case was still under appeal, I think he shoud be kicked off of this case, and stripped of his law license...I hope when the special prosecutor comes into the case, he/she can see that this has been a railroad job from the beginning and drops all the charges....The man who slaughtered this family Charles Boney is in prision right where he belongs,
so bring David Home. |

Boy are you biased. Dollars to donuts says your closely related (maybe his sister) to David Camm, or possibly one of the 15 women we know of that he screwed while being such a loving devoted great innocent family man.
Keith Henderson is a class act, very professional and doing his job according to the law and evidence. When he came in and had an entire new set of detectives "Fresh eyes" take a look at the case top to bottom, I'm sure he did so because he wanted to know the truth before deciding to spend millions of tax payers dollars on a second trial. Blood evidence is exactly that - it's blood and it has specific and scientific patterns as to how it interacts with the world outside of the human body. It's easy to see that the blood on Camm's shirt was not mere contact. His daughters brain matter didn't get simply brushed onto the top of his tshirt, it was impacted into the cotton fibers of the shirt. The blood ON TOP of his shoes didn't climb up there from the floor, and it's obvious to anyone with common sense and is not biased that the blood on TOP of his shoes didn't get there by dripping down on them. It's mist and it came from gun shot splatter. David Camm is guilty. It doesn't matter what prosecutor tries the case, or where its held at the 3rd time, he will be found guilty again because the blood doesn't lie, it's not biased and 12 jurors will clearly see the evidence as the 24 jurors before them did. I'm sure there is more to come. Hopefully one of the stores the Boney met Camm at still has their Suveilance tapes from that time. If so, this will not got to trail a 3rd time. I'm sure that there will also be even more evidence that comes out. Hopefully they will find the murder weapon. He's guilty. The blood doesn't lie and I have not heard a word fromt he so called Liar for hire. I have a brain,common sense, and I'm not related or biased. GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY

"They(state police - former friends and co-workers who DAVID himself had called) arrived quickly and Camm told them that he had found his son strapped into the car in the garage and had tried to revive him before he realized the entire family was dead. But there was nothing at the scene to indicate that Camm had indeed been near his son. The scene also appeared to be too "neat," one technician testified later, with evidence of clean-up."
COME ON - IF I FOUND MY SON SHOT AND DYING, I'd have his blood ALL over me from trying to hold and comfort him during his last moments. WHY wasn't ANY of Brad's blood on David? |
||||
|
"There were eight droplets of blood identified as Jill's on Camm's T-shirt, which were the result of high velocity blood spray such as one might get from standing in the vicinity of a bullet hitting a person. Camm would had to have been within four feet at the time of the shooting incident. Also found blood on Camm's shoe—Kim's blood ---that looked like a similar mist pattern. While it was smudged, it was consistent with spray from a bullet's encounter with a person."
Either he was there or he wasn't there when they were shot - HE WAS CLEARLY THERE |
