take a drive through most of the streets in sellersburg and look at all the ky tags on the cars and the most are mexican owned or rented even the projects in charlestown are full of ky tags. Why is that and i thought it was against the law.

It's clear you dont live here. And yes I am prejudice to the fact the money is clearly being lost and my taxes go up. If the city would open some eyes there is money to be made only by forcing what is the law. I,m not on here looking to argue. I have tested my theory by driving up and down nearly every street and doing a little census of my own and it only took 2 hours to calculate a loss of and this is at a short count of 500 vehicles with ky tags and the average cost of 100 dollars per vehicle for the past 5 years comes to a total of $250,000 of lost revenue for our government and the actual number is much higher due to the fact that I didnt count every carand out of the 500 vehicles around 450 or so was hispanic owned. My only comment is ,,,, is if I can take 2 hours and come to this conclusion - why cant our city office holders?

If Indiana would make it easier for Hispanics to tag their cars in Indiana, I am sure they would be happy to. Maybe you should write your Congressman and ask for equal rights instead of complaining about the police not doing their job. Most of the people in Hispanic community have federal I.D. numbers and pay taxes contrary to popular belief. They just are not given the same courtesy's as you.

If Indiana would make it easier period! I am about to go get my license in KY. I had an IN license for 20 years, then moved out of state for 3 yrs, came back and had to take a written test, even after having a license in the state prior. Failed the test. I asked the lady how many people fail it, she told me 2 out of 3 fail it. I have 2 college degrees and failed it. So, this may be another reason why they are getting plates in KY. In KY, all I would have to do is turn in my drivers license from the other state and use a "friends" address to get my license. Indiana makes it far too hard on people

If they are here illegally, then they are foreign invaders, and so they have no rights, and we have the right to shot them, since we the people who have a right under the law to repel foreign invaders. A foreign invasion is an act of war, always has been and always will be. So hows them apples their jerk?

Passing a drivers test shouldn't be easy and who in the world wants Indiana to be like Ky. thats just plain ridiculous, there are already to many idiots on the road now. I bet "long time resident" flunked the test because he missed one of the road signs, they have a manual to study, and 16yr old kids pass it every day. I say if you want easy move back to Ky. there are enough bad drivers in Indiana already.

What in the world does that have to do with passing a drivers test?? Like I said 16 year old KIDS pass driving tests everyday, and driving is a privelage not a right, take public transportation if you can't follow the laws in Indiana.
