I live in Sellersburg and have not once heard about any water advisories. I hear about them weeks later from friends who also live in Sellersburg--who is responsible for getting the word out to the public?? I didn't know about the one after the wind storm until I turned on my tap to wash dishes & it was orange. I have been drinking it for days.

We tried calling numerous times for a friend of ours because she lives in Sellersburg and her phone didnt work. They probably took it off the hook because they got tired of people calling. We finally called the Police station and asked them, and also complained about not being able to get ahold of anyone with the water company. Try going to the next council meeting and complain. They are acting like the friggin cable people now. They get tired of talking to people, so they take their phones off the hook or just let it ring. They could at least have their answering machine set up with a message for people with questions, but they are not smart enough to think about that. After all, we are talking about Sellersburg. LOL....

It's Saturday, and we just were informed that the WATER BOIL was LIFTED!!!!, didn't even know that I was to BOIL IT!!!!

Heads up!!! A boil water advisory has been issued today and will be in effect until Feb. 14. The water department needs to get with the times and offer text alerts when these kinds of things happen!!!!! I only know of this because I was bored and looked at channel 3 news app. I have small children and have been through several boil water adisories, only to find out after the advisory was lifted.:-/
