Sayville School Budget Defeated
A proposed $91.13 million Sayville school budget was defeated Tuesday. The budget needed a 60 percent supermajority to pass as it pierced the state's tax cap, but it failed to obtain even a simple majority with 2,257 no votes versus 1,749 yes votes.

why should it pass they wanted to increase administration costs by almost 400 thousand and also ad money for an assistant principal while cutting out money for tech for the kids. We should have a monitor follow the super and assistant super around for a week and see what they actually do to earn all the money they make and for that matter the assistant principals to
