I think arresting this lady is over the line. Ok she did a stupid thing. I am sure there was no malicious intent. Suspend the lady a few weeks and move on. Talk about wasting tax payer dollars.

We are not talking about forgeting to pick up some bread before going home, we are talking about abandoning a three year old child. Damn, someone needs to be responsible.

I agree. Than suspend her or blacklist her from that type of employ. She was an idiot. She was not on drugs or alcohol. Lets use common sense.

Well, she didn't literally "abandon" the child. She failed to perform a thorough "walk-thru" of the bus.

The child was eventually returned safely to her famly.

The aide screwed up - royally! However, I don't think she deserves jail time for her mistake. She was terminated, and that seems to me to be all all that's needed.

Well, lets just hope her future does not entail taking care of anymore children.
