FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ibbetson is Running for State Representative of House District 21
Chris Ibbetson, is announcing his candidacy for State Representative in District 21, CO. Ibbetson and his fellow Democratic County Delegates have collected signatures from residents House District 21 in support of his primary nomination. Individuals have responded with support and substantial votes more than sufficient to place him on the ballot for the June 2012 primary election.
With over 6 years of military experience, Ibbetson sees the dire need to reserve our freedoms, was given to us by the United States Constitution, by having a simple thing as the right to vote on Election Day. This is 2012 and there is no need for not treating everyone as an equal. We all live in the same state, we all live in the same country, and we all deserve to be treated as equal, no matter what gender, race or sexual orientation that we may have, just equals. He is also a Colorado Licensed EMT.
Chris Ibbetson sees the Planned Parenthood issue as motivations to run for office.
According to Ibbetson, "Planned Parenthood in House District 21 is my top priority." He adds,“No women should ever have to be embarrassed to go to her doctor for birth control because for fear that she won’t get the birth control or that she would have to go through pointless and costly medical procedures to them, and quite frankly, it’s none of our business why anyone sees there doctor unless they plan to tell the rest of the world themselves, that is why the U.S. congress put into law the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act in 1996, which is known as HIPAA, to ensure a patient’s privacy ."
More information about Chris Ibbetson and his campaign can be found on his website, www.facebook.com/vote.ibbetson . This site includes biographical information about Chris and a calendar of upcoming events, as well as his position on many of the important issues affecting House District 21.

Have you ever read the HIPAA form? Near the bottom you authorize the MIB to access your patient records. Especially if your insurance paid.

http://www.mib.com/html/about_mib_group.html

MIB is Medical Information Bureau. It was set up in 1902. Basically every time you sign a HIPAA form you allow 470 insurance companies to access your medical information. This is opposite of your claim that Abortions and birth control are private medical decisions.

From < http://www.harp.org/DCS/DCS-0801A.html> ;

Information from the MIB is limited to IDI claims for disability, life or health for the previous 7 years. Insureds are entitled to receive 1 free copy of their MIB file annually by calling 1-866-692-6901. Insureds are entitled to receive: 1) the nature and substance of information MIB has in its files about you; 2) the names of member insurance companies that reported to MIB about you; and 3) the names of member companies that received a copy of your MIB file in the last 12 months.

I find your comments very funny on a few instances.#1) Your still in a primary race within your own party, I guess it's no time to lose since you haven't won a primary yet.#2) the last time I checked, you Albert Sweet, was crushed by your opponent former Fountain City Council member Lois Landgraf, but somehow by a form of a miracle got a little bit over 30% of the vote at the Republican Assembly last Saturday, so how about you take it one step at a time and worry about your primary FIRST!#3) Yesterday, on the Independent's website, it was written that I had to withdraw from the race due to voter registration timelines. So, not only are you attacking someone that is not even your opponent yet, your attacking someone that is not even in the running any more, for a politician, you need to earn the respect and honor from those that you plan to represent. I see that you are already doing a great job at that already since I'm not even your opponent.#4) I would love for you to point out for me where I said anything about abortion, because you can't. The patient care form due get sent to other agencies, FOR RESEARCH, Not Politicians, that is what I meant in my statement, but thanks for twisting my words, and yes healthcare providers have to tell over agencies about their patients, that's where a medical biller and coder comes in, but everyone that is a certified healthcare provider knows HIPPA is there to protect the patient from the public.
