Cape Wind Project: Organizations call on feds to halt review

Local stakeholders have long opposed the Cape Wind project for the unacceptable threats it poses to local Tribes and public safety - and now several national organizations have requested a halt to any further action on the costly proposal.

i think its a perfect place to install wind turbines, always a wind there......guess Kennedy and cronkite don't want to look at them?

remember---- Boston wants to put the wind mills in western, ma. so they don't have to look at them...

I don't believe that putting the windmills further offshore will satisfy the complainers. I was under the impression that all of the "big oil" haters were in favor of having alternative energy sources. It now turns out that they are nothing but hippocrates.

Tuckermuck Island and Madaket Island are perfect spots for the "green" energy people to put up GE wind turbines. But NIMBY.

i am all for wind turbines, but i want the electric companys to drop the delivery fees and the rest of the bull......
i will pay for the electric i use not all the fees
