Chaney's Used Cars is a DISHONEST BUSINESS. Tell Everyone!!

I recently purchased a car from Chaney and he builds absolutely NO rapport with his customers. What kind of customer service is that?? He has his trained employees scripted and giving mediocre statements when I call in. I was basically forced to sign a paper for a car that I did not even get to check. We test drove it for 2 minutes and were not allowed to see under the hood til after signing the papers. He knows how desperate his customers are for a vehicle, and knows exactly what to tell his puppets to tell his customers. Now I have a car that I just spent an extra $1500 on, and it still needs work! I want a trade-in!

The only ppl that are writing bad stuff about chaneys is the ones that dont pay there bills......... be honest you dont pay your cell phone there going to cut off...... same you dont pay your car it well be repo.....

sorry dan,but i don't know who you dealt with at chaneys,but obviously it wasn't james himself.i have been a greatful customer of chaneys for the last 2 almost 3 years,james has went way above and beyond his title as a car sales man.when i first started my purchase with him it was sapposed to be for 18 months well due to financial problems my contract went on for almost 3 years and never once did james attempt to repo my kia or change his business with me. during my contract and even after james did repairs and all on my kia that was not even under contract.also there is not many car lots who allow you to put a car in lay away as what james allows,i have known him to work with many people so again im not sure who you dealt with,but im sure had you went to james with your problem he woulda solved it for you in a way you woulda been satisfied with...all james has asked of his customers is to not avoid him if your in a financial strain but to keep him posted,and also there is NO other car lot that will let you skip a december payment (with no late fees) so that money can go on a childs christmas.SO PLEASE BEFORE YOU POST JUST A NASTY MESSAGE KNOW YOUR FACTS.

well here is my chaney story i was 7 days late with my payment due to irs fraud going on so he called me friday i told him i was waiting on refund and so on i would pay saturday he said ok why when saturday came the tow truck was at my house trying to tow my car.... so i called police of course he didnt answer phone i was willing to make three payments over the phone.. so he gives me some bs talking bout he put some lein on my tag with the courts. and he had to have car in his possesion to take it off so he drove to my house and drove my car back to avon park mind you he is closed sun& mon so tuesday i have 3 car payments and a 385 dollar fee to stop the lein on my tag which he was lying about that. this mf adds on 800 more dollar for towing fees saying i gave his tow truck driver a hard time. so i leave come back that monday( oh i forgot to say i seen my car sitting on the front lane of cars ready for sale that tues.)i have all the money he asked for plus 3 payments of my own , 385 for an phony fee, 800 for towing, he sends his slaves out to tell me he needs 7000 cash if i want my car..........or he can put me and another car with cheaper paymnts but the reason i have to pay cash for my original car is cause i gave the tow truck man a hard time but yet you want to put me and a different car bs..... so i hired an attorney.. NEVER RENT FROM CHANEY BIG A$$ LIARS

They do not keep their word, when you go make a payment commitment. Then they expect you to be responsible for all tjhe over head. All they have to do is be honest. Even the employees are pathetic, they don't care about the promises or contracts, all they care about is receiving a paycheck. Remember all that you give comes back to you, you as employees need to act and be honest and treat people right.

Do not buy there i was out.of the.country for.work got back 3 days after my payment was.due and they already took my car. They are scanners and will rip you off don't be fooled because you can't get a car anywhere else. If you buy from them you will be ripped off.

This one tops the cake. My husband went in to check on the price of a car and they told him they would finance no problem. He told them we did not want the financing and would pay cash for the vehicle. Immediately they said they did not accept cash and would only finance if we financed through them. This story alone should confirm everything written above. He is a total scammer and wants everyone to screw up. DON'T BUY FROM HIM. HE SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS.

i am having problem with them i got a kawasaki ninja zx10 from them last year. i put 2000 down and my payments are 225 a month. i have been on time until i went to pay it off and they told me i still owed 4500 after a year of making payments. well i put another 1000 down to help knock it off and they gave me 2 months off for the next payment . well then i called to pay my monthly 225 and they told me it was 420 and then the next one will be 225. and now i made that payment . but i just got a call from them saying i owe them 2 months which is another 450 and if i dont pay they going to repo the bike ( which is not at my house). i told them i was out of town helping with down cable lines due to the huricane is new orleans .( comcast employee) and that i would pay when i get back . they dont care now they want the money is full or get the bike . plus now they are saying that the bike was 9,450 when i bought it when it was only 6450....
i am single dad. my wife passed away last year and they didnt care at all..
I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.. these people dont care.

Chaneys is a great place to buy a car.. I have bought 5 from there so far and had no problems.. I just signed over my most recent car to my daughter so she can get to college and will be making another purchase very soon for myself..Chaneys is very fair he is just doing business so make your pmts on time and if you cant just call and they might work with you
