Review: Kolodge Property Management

DO NOT USE KOLODGE PROPERTY MGMT.! To put it simply-- the experience was terrible in all respects.

I am currently using Kolodge Property Mgt to list my second property. The first property took too long to rent, the second property is still not on Craig's list after 3 weeks, and they are slow to return phone calls. I won't be using them after this contract has expires.

I would imagine if you could have a terrible experience with Kolodge Property Management you must have a pretty terrible life!! They are the nicest most caring people I have ever dealt with!!Maybe you need to get a life!!Or look at your life!!Maybe most of your experiences are terrible because you might be a terrible person. Lighten up and quit talking negatively about people and maybe your experiences wouldn't be so negative!!

If you looked at your management agreement you would see you can cancel your agreement at any time with Kolodge Property Management!!Being an owner also I have had only great experiences with the entire office staff!!Instead of posting negative comments why don't you get your negative talking hiney on the phone and call KPM and tell them how you are feeling and I am sure there was a reason for not posting on craigs list for 3 weeks are we getting the full story here?? My houses are always posted immediately as soon as they are ready to rent!!Also if you are so unhappy why in the heck would you have a second house for them to manage?So you could have something to complain about? Get a life!!

Kolodge Property Management is always speedy with putting things on craigslist. We would NEVER wait three weeks to post something. We always try our best to get back to everyone as soon as we can. If there is a problem to hesitate to call us and we will find the best solution to your problem.

Sounds like the rebuttal to those negative comments are personally charged, and wouldn't be surprised if they were written by Kolodge staff. I am currently looking for a house to rent and left two voicemail messages with Kolodge Property Management and have yet to hear back, and don't expect to, two weeks have past. That is why I found this site, I felt they may be a shady business and wanted to find out more about there business practices. Gosh, don't you wish there was a "credit check" for property management companies?!

Just rented from KoLodge for the first time (we move in on 11-28). So far the experience has been wonderful. Jennifer has been great to deal with via email and Patti was willing to work with us on the deposit and pet deposit.
If the remainder of our time renting from them is like this first few weeks has been (applying etc.) then I'm not worried at all about us ever having a negative experience.
