No money to kick-start the railroads and canals and roadways. No money to kickstart polio, tuberculosis or cancer research ... or subsidize the nascent Interweb, No vaccine research and distribution for the next virus pandemic.

No Gub'mnt money to finance aeronautical or estuarian, drinking water or or earthquake research though Ca. exposure is $225-T !! No monies to finance the search for that **quasi-stable island** of high-atomic weight metal used by the Chi.com s in 2030s tank-armour? No Gub'mnt money to drain the Kansas-swallowing Mississippi into drought-deviled 2020 Texas?

Oh yeah ... no Gub'mnt spending on law enforcement w.r.t. copy-right, patent and various other IP matters by which the biz-parasite class renders unto itself the generalized wisdom and intellectual effort of the entire culture. None a' that eh pilgrim?

Granted my post was laced with some sarcasm of course and yes, Government does have its place in our lives. It is my belief and opinion if you like that far too many people are looking to Government as “the” only solution to every problem. With that, we also know a matter of FACT that government spending is the least productive, least efficient, and least cost effective spending in the economy. Again it is my opinion that we need a balance between individualism (personally responsibility), the private sector (a responsible) and the Government (limited).
