I have used Intelius tons and never had a problem. Sometimes the info isn't 100% accurate, but it's public record - what do you expect!
If you don't want the monthly subscription, just pay the regular price and don't accept the promotion. Not that hard, just read. Or, if you decide to take the promotion, just make sure you cancel within the 7 day trial and you won't be charged.
If you watched your personal finances better, you'd know you've been billed for 6 months.
Isn't it odd that you have a positive comment about these scumbags and your from Washington also. Gee----I wonder if your in bed with them!

Intelius is an excellent company, because I have used their services in the past and present, but they can't make people read every detail so take some personal responsibility. Their not your Mom!

If you select a promotional price on the Intelius website, you will also receive a free 7 day trial of Identity Protect. After the 7 day trial, it will convert to a regular subscription and bill out at $19.95 monthly.

However, there’s no obligation. If you determine within the 7 day trial that you no longer want Identity Protect, you can cancel your service anytime, online or over the phone with a customer support representative.

Please call 888-445-2727 Monday to Friday from 5am to 8pm and Saturday from 6am to 4:30pm. We will be more than happy to assist you with your account.

Make a video and post it on U-Tube. Time to take this scum out of service. Hope the video goes viral and this scum will be out for good. I cannot even remove my info from his website.

Intelius CEO Naveen Jain is an international criminal, has a long history of perpetrating fraud, and should have been jailed years ago. Don't believe me? Google "naveen jain" and "fraud", and see how many hits you get. It's time to put this pile of sub-human excrement where he belongs. This piece of sh*t needs a fat bounty on his head. As in old-west style. It's a shame that this two-bit chav consumes oxygen, when there are higher-order, more evolved types of life far more deserving of it, such as the bacteria feasting on feces in your toilet.

SCAM.... I purchased a address check and when you first click on the persons name it shows you the city they live in and then when you purchase the item the city is not even listed. Not only that they charge you for the subscription and then if you click on the identity protection they charge for that a well. It tells you that you can cancel your membership within 7 days but it does not tell you that you need to also canel the identity protection as well.

So sad that companies can stay in business legally fooling people. And if Intelius is telling that they are not fooling people it’s of course a lie. No one can make me believe that people pay $1 for obtaining information about people also want some ID protection, that's just b.s. and they know themselves it's a big lie That is how they make money. This ID theft subscription they are “forcing” people into does not add any value whatsoever. And Intelius, please, if you guys respond to this, don’t say that people get a free 7 day subscription and can choose to opt out anytime….. YES, WE KNOW THAT ALREADY, but it’s how you do it that matters.
I have an MBA from Wharton, and I know many people will do whatever to make money, but I think this will change. I’ve been involved in several business start-ups, some successful and some not, and if, during our research we find that the only way to make the business sustainable is to walk into the gray zone between legal and illegal (where Intelius clearly are operating), we would stop. I would hate running a business where everyone is talking negatively about you. I have yet to find a positive unbiased review from a person who bought a $1 person-information from Intelius that is happy to be automatically signed up for ID theft for $20/month. Intelius, please show us that! The 2008 economic down turn was partly a result of companies operating in this gray zone between legal and illegal, for instance the subprime mortgage industry. People are fed up with this now (just look at the massive worldwide ‘Occupy Wall St” movement), and hopefully in the future consumers will make it very uncomfortable for people running business like that. So (un)Intelius, I would give you a few years, and you’re out, hopefully some of your executives will be hunted down by angry customers too.

Greetings to all readers

I am not a grammer specialist, but I can surely tell anyone in simple english that Intelius is a Super Scam, I live in Puerto Rico, and tried looking up for a couple of Brothers which were my school buddies in Chicago years ago.So I accepted a single 1.97 charge for a single search as offerd
by Intelius in thier page.Since then I have been charged twice the sum of 19.95. So I tried to contact Intelius to cancel a membership I never asked for, to my surprise, My credit card numbers, and E-mail was never found by them, nor did my password allow me to Login. But the very same day I called to cancel anything if possible I was deducted 19.95 from my account.Wonder how, if they claim that they can not help me because the card numbers do not match my E-mail Etc. But they did ask me to send them a Fax with my Bank staement, obviously that would put more amo in thier hands for bigger holdups. So I just cancelled my card in the bank, and accept I was foolish enough to ever trust them. By the way the info I recieved about my Buddies was useless. Good luck to all of you, think about it before giving anyone your credit card info.

Intelius is a scam they charge your card without your permission, The info sent on your peoples search is invalid, no good, worthless. When you call to claim they state that your last 4 numbers on your card, your E-mail and Zip code do not match or are not in thier records. But the very same day you call you will be Charged to your bank account another 19.95 and if you try logging in forget it , wont work.
I live in Puerto Rico and its easier to board a plane and someone than with Intelius.
