Had they vacationed in Las Vegas or Orlando, this wouldn't have happened. This is a horrible example of what can happen when you become a stranger in a forigen land. In this case, a third world country, with little comforts of the US which we are used to. What happened was not the fault of the US government any more than the killing of Natalee Holloway in aruba was washington's fault. When you are in a foreign country, you must play by their rules, unfortunately poisonous guest rooms and all.
