Keithsburg couple faces meth charges

The Illinois State Police Tactical Response Team is actually trained to enter houses where meth labs are located and possibly active at the time of entry A Keithsburg couple was arrested in a meth bust at their home this week. William Millage, 52, and Chrystal Millage, 49, were arrested Tuesday morning after a meth lab was found in their home at 1008 Adams St. via Bettendorf News

you know I lived in the Keithsburg area for 15 years What has happened maybe its the jobs in the area. I dont know the couple that was arrested but I did know the other three that was arrested 3 months ago. I am so glad my girls got out of the area maybe the whole town ought to be under investagation it seems alot of so called important people have turned their heads.

yeah maybe important people have turned their heads but its like that everywhere u go. i do know the couple and the family and i think ur the ignorant one. i dont agree with the drug thing but some people do what they have to do. NO one knows whats going on until ur in that situation. and what are the "important people" going to do half the time they dont have a strong enough case against someone and go around searching for ways to nail someone for something

ok around the area, what situation would you have to be in to have a meth lab in your house with a child? in my opinion they need to be in jail for a very long time. and how do you know how strong the case is? i donr care if i was on rock bottom, i would not resort to drugs as a way of making money!!!! but then again we are talking about keithsburg aren't we? just put them in jail and be done with it!!!

I also know Bill and Chris and I know how addiction can take over your life. None of you know what you would do if circumstances were not in your favor so stop being so judgemental. If you must know the results of this case, Bill received 8 years in prison and I believe that Chris will receive the same. You should try to help people instead of condemning them. Someday it could be you that is addicted or maybe someone that you love.

I knew Bill and Chrys for a long time before any of this happened and that little girl that they took from her mother? how can they think that they are better for that little girl than her own mother( who has never done drugs) in my opinion-i think they should have gotten longer than they did. by the way-Chrys only got 3 years- hopefully they can keep her away from getting other kids that are not hers!!!!!

I lived in Keithsburg for 18 years , and I ddn't know anyone who done hard drugs, but times have changed and i know for a fact people will do what ever is nessasary to take care of their family . I don't condone what they have done but facts are we don't know what we would have done if it were one of us. I would think that the town hadn't changed that much from when i was young , back then you could have asked for some help and a neighbor would have helped you . Everyone in the town knew everyone else's bussness why didn't anybody try to get them help before it got that far. When i was young the neighbor would watch out for your kids and your home if it isn't like that anymore ,everyone needs to take a good look at there selfs and see what happened to the town . It use to be a safe place to raise a famly .

I know that everyone has a right to his or her own opinion and I do respect that, that is one way that makes our Country of America a fantastic place to live. We can all agree on this, cant we? Yet there are people in this world who seem to take joy in doing their best to make it a less desirable place. The meth bust in town is one example, if guilty I do hope justice is swift and severe. As a reply to some of the comments above, is this small town any different than any other small town? NO! I have lived here for 20 plus years, and have NEVER had one problem with the people in it or the local government. I have found both to be there whenever needed, without questions asked.I currently have an anual income of 90,000.00,(true) well educated, and very happy here. To Mad Ex,am I still an inbred?(at least I can spell the word and use proper punctuation, and it is not spelled Nylings) It is a shame whatever happened to you in our town but dont hate everybody in it, I am sure that we just lost one more person that made life worse for eveyone, I hope they enjoy you in Florida! mad x resident, I think you are nuts? I lived in Keithsburg 32 years ago. I liked most everyone I knew there,I was not liked much. I was mean as heck then. The Nylin's never botherd me any? The weeks is another story but I learned something by
all that. I drive thru Keithsburg often but I never stop. Just look it over and ride on. Im sorry you feel the way you do. Some people did not like it there,I remember they moved in and a week later they moved out.I had a blast there with my friends. Had some good teachers too. In grade school, I moved out in 1977. to Milton Fla.Maybe some day you will be able to forgive. You can not heal if you can not forgive.P.S. I never knew any Gods there, alot of other type folks but no Gods.

Now the meth problem? A person gets in trouble for meth a year? thats it. In Milton they are cooking that crap up all over the place. They arrest people everyday for Meth, Crack, Pills, Pot you name it.We have it here,if One person a year gets busted for it in Keithsburg thats great. It could be alot worse compared to other places. It is a dangerous drug. I hope the Citizens of Keithsburg
watch out for this stuff. Stop it as fast as possible before every teenager in town is hooked on it. Adults use it also, you would think they would have better sense but they do not.

so meth is in keithsburg also,don't feel to bad ,it is all over.it is easy to make,fast money so it draws alot of people.drugs r everywhere.i also used to live in kb.but was a child at the time.didn't know what drugs were.moved around also tried the drug scene awhile but that was not 4 me.live n a different state now, believe me drugs r there also,lived n ohio 4 awhile ,drugs there also.now live n my home state n a little ole town about size of kb. or may b smaller,guess what drugs here also.they r everywhere ,no place is free from them,no place an ,an to get money old people get the pain pills,take an sell them ,to others,get their money ,then set around talking about the 1s who bought them selling them like they did nothing wrong,i live around the same kinda people.bot make no mistake about it there is no place drug free.just help what u can to get rid of them or mind ur own problems hope ur children r not 1 of them or gchildren an pray .
