Does anyone have the link to the current SSP Boro details regarding access to homes? I received a reverse 911 call today that said I could check the site for info, I cant find anything. Thanks in advance.

I just checked, and it hasn't been up-dated yet. I do believe that it's SeasideParkNJ.org , or if you google Seaside Park, NJ, it comes up there.

I live in NC; there is no way I can get there tomorrow morning with such short notice. Usually I have a local plumber winterize the house for me about this time every fall. That is one reason why I'd like access - so that I could do it myself.
If not tomorrow (or this weekend), when can I (or the plumber) have access before frost sets in and the water is turned back on? Burst pipes will just add to the list of things that need to be fixed.
I realize that there are more urgent needs for the SP homeowners, but please consider another time, with some notice, for folks like me. Thanks.

According to the town's web site it is my understanding that access to SSP residents on Friday 9 November will only be available by bus that is boarded in TR; if you got into town last Monday and an official saw you, you will not be permitted to board the bus. Check out the wen site.

went today as part of first set of homes (south of J Street). Got there around 11:30 and were sent away as buses were already full. Do not know if we can come over the weekend or must await a new date for overflow. Awaiting more info. Still grateful for all the help those working through this are providing - conditions are very bad in the area still (e.g., Toms River residents without power still; those without access to their homes sent to a tent city). Wish they could have had sufficient bus support today, however...

WHY WEREN'T THERE ENOUGH BUSES? UNCONSCIONABLE!
It's a sad commentary on planning, IMO. With VERY short notice and limited access time and dates, anyone that lines up and meets the requirements should be allowed to go. How many had to suddenly take a day off of work (Fri.) to get on the island? Did anyone fly into Newark, rent a car and hotel room?(YES!) A nice waste of time and money (over $1200.!)because of poor planning.
For those coming in from CT, NY, PA, MD, VA, NC, etc..... I'd be really, really upset if I were denied access because there weren't enough bus seats. I'd be ready to get rid of the entire Council and Mayor and whomever else is involved in this. The Police Chief? Fire Chief? I'd call the news stations, papers, and Gov. Christie's office for starters.
Do the math: take the number of residences on the entire island and multiply that number by two (two persons per are allowed). Multiply that by, say 95%. Subtract the number of those who have already been allowed access. Per day, just adjust the number of residences from the whole island to the number of residences within the zones.
Businesses? When do they get on? How can "Nick and Betty's" be selling their inventory on eBay without access? Hmmmmm...... Did businesses get preferential access?
Mr. Mayor, you can point to the Governor for lack of public access to SSP, but not the number of buses available! Heck, use the school buses if nothing else is available and yes, pay the public school bus drivers out of my $9000/year tax payments!

P.P.M. I blamed the Mayor and Council as well but, I believe their hands are tied. The only way we will get answers is if someone notifies the Media and let them get answers. It's a great story. In Philly its ABC6 News, CBS3 News, NBC10 News and FOX 17 News. Then there are the local papers. I feel the powers to be are doing the best they can but we are all in the dark as to why residents of SSPK cannot return home. Just let us know, WHY????? Now that we know there are no sink holes, devastation or lack of water and sewer services we, as taxpayers deserve nothing less.
