i cant believe it fell. i was there when it was planted. and i live right down the road from it now.

Huh? How old are you?
I'm also in shock that it's gone, but to me, this was a nobler death, and just glad noone got taken out with it.
Probably the tree equivalent to dying behind the wheel of a sports car, or skydiving?

It should be donated to the Indians so they can fashion a totem pole to honor its life!
