Thousands of unhappy, dissatisfied sellers are leaving ebay for other online selling sites. The ebay Discussion Boards are filled with horror stories. What in the world is going on?

There are a number of major problems. 21-day hold on many sellers' PAYPAL funds, the flawed DSR system that ebay uses to knock you out of Top Seller Rating status so they can charge you have a higher final value fee, etc.

Ebay doesn't want to fix these problems because they are making money off of them.

Sad situation for sellers. No wonder so many are leaving ebay.

A lot of sellers who have left ebay are now listing and selling items on Bonanza and eBid.

Look for other online selling sites like Bonanza and eBid to pick up steam as disgruntled ebay sellers migrate to them.

Addoway and www.hulobu.com are also great sites.

Even veteran Super Sellers and Top Rated Sellers have been adversely impacted by bad ebay policies and are leaving ebay as a result.

Corporate ebay isn't trying to fix any of the problems that they themselves created for sellers by implementing the bad policiies.

Ina Steiner at ecommercebytes.com has also written several good articles about problems at ebay.

There's a thread in the Washington, DC Topix Forum advocating the need for a Senate probe into ebay's behind-the-scenes financial manipulations. Ebay generated revenue of 24 billion last year.

Wonder how ebay's new Global Shipping Program will work out for ebay sellers? Surely ebay won't let sellers take a hit for shipping mistakes that their third-party shipper, Pitney-Bowes, makes. Or will they?

The reality of the matter is, starting back in 2008, ebay began putting bad policiies into place that have the overall gradual result of eliminating small sellers.

Now with the advent of ebay China, thousands of Chinese sellers are flooding ebay with cheap, shoddy "made in China" goods (at rock-bottom prices) that are undermining the sales of American ebay sellers as well as cheapening the prestige of the ebay site.

A lack of adequate protection for sellers along with the flawed DSR system combine to squeeze out the "mom & pops".

Ina Steiner on Ecommercebytes.com has written a number of good articles about the travesties going on at ebay, especially the flawed DSR system and its adverse impact on small sellers.

A group of ebay sellers filed an antitrust lawsuit over the flawed DSR policies some time back and Ina Steiner also wrote a good article about that.
