just wanted to choice my opinion, I work for this place and ever since Sandy Green, Tamara Barnes and Harold started runnung the place everything has gone to the dogs, the resident don't get the care they need, the employees aren't treated well.. they are just money hungry there! could care less about others. If you have family there I would look for another place to place them. If people really knew what goes on inside they would be sick!! There are a few caregivers and med aides who really care but this so called management team keeps pushing them down won't let them do the jobs they want to do for these residents, it might cost money!!!!!!!!!!
please pray for the good employees and residents

Does anyone really know if Necanicum Village has sold? I was informed that it had,and it was sold to the same company as S.E... cross your fingers that it was.......

I also was a caregiver at Necanicum Village. It is more than HORRIBLE the way they take care of the residents in Memory Care. It doesn't do any good to report abuse because many people have & nothing ever happens. I would tell anyone that has family there---get them out ASAP. They need to shut that place down or sell it & get rid of everyone there especially Harold Walton. These people lie through their teeth! I would rather live on the street than there. If people could look at the facts of how many have died there in the past yr. & why they died, you'd find it wasn't from natural causes. These residents have been hit, yelled at, jerked & pushed, not fed & left laying in urine & feces soaked beds because the compassionate people get let go by the company while the other employees are out having an hour long cigarette break! I pray that God will have mercy on these residents & that the people committing these crimes should go to jail for what they are doing! I don't know how they live with themselves!

I previously worked at this place also, i witnessed some of the residents being treated so poorly it was pathetic...i have seen residents in the memory care wearing 2 depends at a time so the staff does not have to change them as often, then have been jerked around, yelled at, and really there are some very hard workers there who truly love what they do but the administrators make them so mad that they leave...Harold walton is a big talker but never does what he says he is going to do with staff or residents, Tammy Barnes is the RN who should have to go back to school because she is allowing meds to be passed two to three hours early and having the med-aides do all her work for her because she is always "so busy". Tim O'Hara will talk down to the staff on daily basis, harassing, he is afraid of the residesnts - he will back off when ever one comes near or if a residents happens to touch him he will shove them away and hes part of corparate! All in all i would rather have my family living in a box on the street or under a bridge before i would have them step foot into that place. What they do there is abuse and i hope to god state goes in there one day to see the residents being talked down to like there animals, feces crusted on there clothes and under there nails, or even the shit they call food, the head cook there wouldnt know a carrot from a dead turkey (trust me i have delt with the side effects from the food)I hope that the place gets shut down SOON!!!DO NOT MOVE YOUR FAMILY IN THERE!!

I just wanted to say that since the new administrators have taken over things are so much better. The residents are treated great and are really cared for. We have activities all day long now (a huge variety), they all go on regular outings, and most importantly they have cracked down on the employees; anyone who double depends or does anything considered abuse or neglect gets terminated. We have a new nurse who is really, really great. She is on the floor the whole day and is always available to talk to and to help. She isn't afraid to get in there and touch the residents like the previous nurse. The food has gotten to be excellent now. All the staff even loves it. The building has also been newly renovated. All in all, I think it is now a great place to have your loved one live.

To the last person that wrote on here. I truly hope you are right & that they finally got decent administrators & workers in there that will do something for the welfare of these residents. It's been 5 yrs. & even though Necanicum has changed hands nothing changed. And for the person who wrote about stste coming in. State did come in & nothing was done...said they didn't have enough proof. I'm not a vengeful person by heart...I'm very compassionate. But I hope EVERYONE of the people that has worked there in the past & treated the residents bad will have to go & live in a place like this & be treated like this themselves one day!!!!
