Sheriff's deputies investigating a fatal shooting in North County on Wednesday

night arrested a woman in Salinas on Thursday with a sport utility vehicle stolen in Nevada.
Deputies said the woman took a 1999 white Dodge Durango and refused to give it back to the owner because she had no other vehicle to drive back from Lake Tahoe.
Her arrest came about three hours after a man was shot to death at 421 Maher Road in a drive-by shooting in which another white Dodge Durango apparently was used.
Deputies determined the vehicle located 260 Clay St. Thursday wasn't used in the North County shooting.
They arrested Briana Marie Weitzel, 21, of Salinas, on suspicion of auto theft and lodged her in the Monterey County Jail.

The fact that someone would steal someone else's car because they didn't have a way back from Lake Tahoe makes me really wonder about some people in this world. That's outrageous that she would actually do something like that in the first place. Redneck? No Jerk? No Horrible person? Yes

A typical self centered, self absorbed, spoiled, dis-respectful society leech that thinks she is entitled to, and has the right to, do anything she pleases at the expense of other people and thinks she should be allowed to get a free pass in regards to her ignorant selfish mentality.

Another product of the "new generation" of morons that believe they are "above" the law.
