Absolutely not in my opinion. They don't live in this town. The speeds were put up 12 years ago when there were no businesses and no traffic. They have not been changed since then. You probably haven't been out much to see the amount of traffic. Prob too busy trying to keep that Obama sign in your front yard!!! And anyone who resorts to profanity as an answer as in the last post loses all credibility. These are my opinions.
You have no idea how much I've been out. I don't have an Obama sign, I voted for Romney. Not looking for credibility and I save my best profanity for the bitch that's been saying despicable things about me and my family for months. She's a special troll.
Your opinions are no more important than mine.

Is this really the best thread for you both to insult each other on?

My prayers go out for the family and friends of these two women who were killed in this accident and the young man who was injured. I can't imagine the pain you are going through.

Please don't help The Daily Citizen make a dime as they post teasers without names. Classless.
You scold the newspaper at the same time you post that someone is DEAD who WASN'T EVEN IN THE CAR?? YOU are classless!!! Stop blaming others for your careless actions!!!

I reposted what someone posted on The Daily Citizen facebook page. When one of the names was incorrect I apologized. My post and the one on facebook would not have been made if The Daily Citizen had posted the names instead of a teaser to a paid link. When they do it for election results or sports scores it's frustrating. When they use victim's names to make a few extra dollars it's shameful. Anything I post or do not post doesn't change that.

Again, if you don't read the paper, why follow them? Seems like to issue is on your end, not theirs. Those of us who read the paper appreciate it when they post links.

Those of you who read the paper don't need the links; you're already reading the paper! The links are teasers for people to buy.

Still wondering why you follow if you don't read. Can't speak for anyone else, but I don't like waiting until the next morning for breaking news, nor do I stay on their website and hit refresh every few minutes.

<quoted text>Nobody likes him on here and probably no where else either because he thinks he knows more than he does and he tries to stir up trouble. His table manners could be improved. His opinions are out of date and overly harsh and his language is disrespectful. He has a pretty good vocab and sometimes he takes criticism well so he is not all bad but when they pass out the Turkey of the Year Award he is a sure winner.

Am I missing something? Does the Citizen force people to follow them on Facebook and Twitter against their will? No? Well then, subscribe to the paper or unlike their page. Voila! Problem solved.

good grief! YES you're missing something! No one is "following" the Citizen or trying to BFF them on Facebook without a subscription. Here's the point they're trying to make:
There is a bad wreck. You hear someone may have been killed. you think, oh no, is it family, friends, someone I know? It's just happened and no one seems to know who it is yet. So what do you do? Answer... You go to the Internet and Google it. Now, when you type in "wreck on beebe Capps expy" guess what the first link to pop up is??? Yup. The Daily Citizen. Yay! You can find out who it is! Oh wait... When you click on it it says "2 killed in fatal wreck". Want to know who? Pay for a days subscription and we'll tell ya- otherwise sorry but we ain't tellin.
And THAT'S what the poster was getting at. And no, at the time no other sites had the info. Except for the incorrect info found on Facebook. And here.

Glad I subscribe. It's worth a few cents a day not to be lied to. Complain about their social media if you want, but I would be shocked if they go against the wishes of their readers to appease folks who want a free ride. They'll be hearing from me if they do.
