Let's remember that those involved had loved ones. Yes we have a morbid curiosity about these things but we should still keep in mind that perhaps the next of kin aren't even aware of accidents involving their loved one at times people start posting on this site.
I am praying for all involved! The victims of the accident, may they be living or deceased, the families that may have lost a loved one, the police officers that had to work it, the firefighters wearing their turnouts, the ambulance workers, hospital staff, even the good Samaritans that stopped to help. Truth it, it affected so many more people than you think.
It is sad.
Just be thankful you are able to spend time with your families and hopefully enjoy the upcoming holiday with them.
May God Bless everyone o that scene today!

Did it ever occur to you that PERHAPS if someone passed, there was NOTHING that could have been done?!?
If you weren't there, and didn't know first hand, you shouldn't comment.
If you had been there, you'd have a better assessment of the situation.
How do you know if someone died that they were even viable at the time first responders arrived??
You don't.
Set aside your ignorance and show some respect.

Are you really dumb enough to think she was at fault if the lady couldn't be saved & a doctor could have saved her? It depends on the injuries! If nothing can be done it has nothing to do with how good or bad of a nurse she was!

People lost their lives today and you have the nerve to disrespect someone on trying to help? From the way it sounded.. the lady wasn't called to help. She was a good person trying to save a life. Which is more than what can be said about you. Show some respect.

The lady that was helping is my sister. She is a nurse and did what she could to comfort the man until help got there. There was nothing she could do for the others.

I saw your sister run to the scene of the accident. It looked as if she was just doing errands in the strip I work at. She didn't hesitate to go back to her car before she ran over there to help. She is a great person. She could have just gotten into her car and left, but she dropped what she was doing in order to help others in need. Forget what that person said... I don't know who she is.. I didn't even see her face, only the back of her head running towards the wreck. Just thought I would say that.

I had been on my way home and heard the impact from where I was on sawmill. I had turned on Beebe Capps to head towards home out 36. I pulled into the parking lot in front of Mr Postman to help.
I work in dispatch and have no medical training. Just a kind heart. I left my vehicle, windows down, purse in the front seat. No thought of securing my vehicle. All I cud do was RUN to help. There was a retired nurse, she was an older female that was also helping. We knew what we could and couldn't do. We didn't hesitate. We responded. I'd want the same if it'd been me. I feel for everyone that had a hand in that accident today. I stayed til the end. With a heavy heart. Thanks to those that recognize a citizens efforts of good will.
To those that WEREN'T there and passing judgement, shame on you!

In situations like today there was nothing any medical person could have done. There are some situations way beyond a nurse or doctors capabilities. They can only do so much! But they do a good Job when they can make a difference. Life expectancy has continued to increase!
