Nice guy, but Haynie will lose badly as long as he remains buddy-buddy with local teabaggers Horton, Nutter, Niblock, etc. People voted out the teabaggers on the city council and the new ones who tried for seats failed too. People of this county will not put the tea party in charge of county government.

I could care less if he hung out with teabaggers or trashbaggers! If i like what he stands for, then he has my vote! I am drained with all the drama the county judge has currently allowed to go on.

The problem isn't who he's friends with. The problem is the thought of the local teabaggers having actual influence on county government. I hope BH is smart enough to distance himself from them.

Bill Haynie is a good guy but that Horton-Niblock-Parish-Nutter bunch will hurt him if he doesn't get away from those rabble-rousers.

I agree. I'm all about looking at Mr. Haynie for my vote, but I can't do it if he is hooked up with that Nutter bunch. Some of that bunch are so disrespectful and have such ugly attitudes. They disagree, just for the sake of disagreeing.

Hayne is friends with a lot of people. Democrats, Republicans and Tea party folks. Why judge him for being friends with all sides. He's just a all around good man. He and his wife have done a lot for the people of White County. He has my vote.

If you go by the talk around town Haynie will beat Lincoln bad. I know talk is just that talk but he is going to be the next White County judge. I'm ready for a change. The tax and the Jenkins thing blew it for Lincoln. He just as well save his money and time.

It has nothing to do with who he's friends with. Haynie is smart enough to befriend anyone he can befriend. But he has politically aligned himself with Horton in an attempt to paint himself as a conservative to the "liberal" Lincoln, as Horton sees it. Bill, it may seem like a smart strategy now, but the teabaggers are only strong enough to spoil elections, not win them. Lincoln is beatable, but you're going about it the wrong way. It voters even whiff a hint of tea party on you, as they ALREADY DO, these people who say nice things to your face will vote against you in droves. Lincoln will be more than happy to point out to anyone who will listen who your supporters are, and he ALREADY IS. Bill, please do yourself a favor and publicly divorce yourself from Horton, Nutter, Niblock and the rest of the "again'ners" IMMEDIATELY! You're better than that. I want to vote for you, and many others want to, also. If you show yourself to be a fair and honest Republican, you will win this election.

Yea and if Lincoln lets Bud Osborne off with this dwi thing ,Its not going to look any better for him..he needs to have the guy step down from his position and stop saying its all someones elses fault. The man was drunk!! Admit it! he does this all the time, nothing new.

This man has friends within ALL parties. I'm voting to for the positive difference Haynie WILL make in White County, not because he has 3 of THOUSANDS of friends/supporters that I may or may not like! That's a bit silly! This is my Childs future and I'm supporting an honest candidate this time! It's past due! Go Haynie!

Hayne doesn't need the job for the money so he can't be bought by anyone. I know him and his family and they all want to make this county a better place if he can. I know he will treat all the county employees all the same. He will be fair and honest to everyone. Wish we had more like him and it's a pleasure to know him and his family.

Wise advise, BH. Take heed, or wonder why you lost.

I agree with WdEl. Bill Haynie knows ALOT of people. He has many friends across ALL parties. I know him well and he is not "ALIGNED" with anyone. He's the real deal. He isn't a political "fence rider" that will say just about anything to get your vote. He stands up for what he believes in. If he tells you something you can bank on it. You couldn't ask for a better friend in your corner than Bill Haynie.

Personally, I don't give a rip what political party ANYONE is affiliated with. I vote for the PERSON and what they stand for, not the party!

I don't know much about this Horton fellow other than what I've read in the paper. But I'll say this, he does have the balls to dig deep and ask the tough questions that we ALL should be asking. I believe in total transparency and accountability within our government. Something we're lacking. Without that it becomes a dictatorship, not a democracy.
