Looking to move to the area; can anyone recommend a good realtor? Also, which areas (in town AND out) should I look for and which should I avoid? Realtors aren't normally able to give that kind of information. Any help is appreciated!

I don't know any realtors personally, but there are quite a few in the area who have many years of experience. The first one who comes to mind is Barbara Duncan with remax in Searcy. She has a keen interest in the history of the area and would be able to answer any questions regarding neighborhoods. If I were looking to buy in Searcy, she is who I'd contact.

There aren't any really bad neighborhoods other than the obvious. Just depends on how much money you have. Personally you couldn't give me a house in River Oaks due to the Fair and all of the functions that go on around the Fairgrounds.

Just remember, usually Realtors are hired by the sellers. That's who they work for.

I love Searcy. Those who don't are free to leave, Harding does not control Searcy. Good luck!
