I take kids to school after making breakfast, come back home and make up bed, start some laundry, clean up breakfast dishes, work out, fold laundry and wash the next load, sweep and pick up in living room or other chores that need to be done.. In summer I mow or do yard work. Then after all clean my kids come home and I make snack and start homework or go to practice or ball games then come home and cook supper, clean up supper dishes, and then I may have time to watch a show and take a bath before I get them in bed so I can relax and get on topix and Facebook or play on computer for a bit before I go to bed and start the same thing again the next morning!

I worked from the time I was 15. My kids had to be shuffled everywhere. I missed ball games and would have to find sitters when they was sick or people to take them to appointments. I just recently got the opportunity to stay home. So I am lovin it right now but will eventually want to go back to work. My kids only have a few years left at home now so I want to enjoy it as long as I can... I may change my mind when summer comes lol!!

I get up at 4:30 and make my sweet hubby's lunch, then get him up for work (I have his clothes warmed up in the dryer) and I see him off and send him a loving text for him to read when he gets to work.
Then I update my dogs for sell online,(I raise dogs and everytime you update them, it moves the listing to the first page.... Betters your advertisement). Then it's time to get the kids up. I only take 1 of the 5 kiddos to school 2ce a week. The others ride the bus.
But every morning, i make breakfast for 5. After I get the youngins off to school, I start laundry, vacuum, and clean the windows.
Then around 9:30 I check on the dogs, and feed the inside pets.
By 11am I am laying out tomorrow's school clothes and paying bills.
I straighten the house and sweep/mop til about 1pm. Then I let 1 or 2 dogs in to socialize with them. I teach a new trick every week. It takes around an hr a day. Then I update again.
At 2 (I ain't gonna lie), if I'm in the living room, mating socks, or whatever, I'm gonna put General Hospital on. Lol.
But it's just 1 hr and when it's over, I make an afternoon snack for the kiddos.
I pick 1 up from choir, 1 from Baseball and 1 from that other school (2 days a week). Then about an hour after everyone's home, I drive my son to work, cook supper, wash another load of clothes, get everyone bathed and in bed, then go pick my son up from work. I get about 2 hrs to surf the net, then go to bed and start over in 4 1/2 hrs!!!

Just to be said not only do I not work outside of the house but I bring in more monthly income than he does. So don't be so concerned with my pocket book!

My house couldn't function without me spending so much time there. I may not be bringing in $, but it's something that has to be done. And I like knowing my children have someone home that can give them the attention they need.

And there are lots of days where the mom's get together and have coffee, or I go out to lunch with my mom or sister. And there's always one child or another needing something from town, or needing to go to town, or has an appointment with a doctor, dentist, or vet..... wait, that's a whole other story. Lol.

I take care of my hubbs like that too and he LOVES it! He brags all the time. Idk why ppl are being nasty, my kids and my husband both would hate the thought of me going to work outside the home....I think I have them all a little spoiled, but at least I'm appreciated :)

Being a stay at home mom is harder than a woman that works her 8-10 hour shift and goes home and is done. A stay at home mom works 24/7, days, nights, overnights, holidays. And she can't 'call in' if she's sick, ever.

If the husband leaves, then she's strong enough to pull through.
