I have personally been inside and I was stunned. They have really put a lot into this building. And they do have it set up as if they are going to be able to serve drinks. They have an upstairs bar. Searcy is going to be very surprised with this place!

How are they going to be able to serve drinks when Harding buys out all the liquor licenses?

Harding let them expire and there was a gap between when they expired and when they bought them again they squeezed in

ACTUALLY Harding doesn't buy ANY liquor licenses. That is a MYTH. Approval of liquor licenses goes to ABC and they get turned down if people challenge it (IE: Harding) so yea they're the reason we can't get liquor but they don't "buy up" anything.

Harding does not own any liquor licenses. Nor can they block (as a sole entity) the approval of a liquor license. White County has 5 liquor license approvals which can be found at the state government site.

Licenses are approved on a case by case basis and there are no set amount of licenses allotted for a city or county.

So all you yahoo's that think HU controls the ABC, you're wrong. Now they may have influence with the decision based on the support they get from others in town regarding the wishes of the "community".

I personally get sick and tired of everyone wanting to blame Harding for everything. Thanks for clearing this up!
