If you are refering to the one across from caldwell country store, YES they are crooks. They put a BRAND NEW sensor on my husbands truck, and the truck runs worse with it. He has to keep the sensor unplugged in order for his truck to run half way decently. And nobody can tell by hubby what is wrong with his truck.

try taking it to this place on hwy 16. It's on the right. Right past the church that burnt a while back ago. It says something auto sales on the outside. He is a great mechanic and can probably tell you what's wrong.

i think putting stuff on topix is cowardly. if they ripped you off report them. i think if they did bad wrk then they wont get any business. i think its sad people use topix to slam people and belittle. i dont read this much but ive had family who people wrote bad things about them on here and it was untrue.

Cantrell's Auto Repair across from Caldwell's Country Store does good work but they are way too expensive. They charge New York City prices. It will catch up with him soon! This kind of pricing won't work in White County.

Honestly this is the first time i have heard bad about them, except for when people try to cheat him out of money. I respect everyones opinions though. I have also heard of other people prices in searcy being a lot worse. I have heard him on numerous occasions telling people of the cheaper shops when it comes to oil changes. I am so sorry if he wasnt able to fix your husbands truck. Did yall ever take it back to tell him. I have never heard of him not trying his best to figure out what is wrong.

if you got it done 6months to a year ago it should be under warranty and you can take it back and let him look at it and tell him whats going on with it

The prices and work are ridiculous. If you can't stay too watch them preform the work just stay away from them. While there working fixing one thing there messing something major up. Had a Lincoln continental & 99 Chevy 1500 both which I had to have the work re done and found out I was charged way over minimum rate. Always ask for parts back and recites from auto stores. All together they cost me about 3400. That's another car..... Smh.. Few light bills few rent payments and some kool-aid you feel me.

Really Mr. Pipes? Letís get the facts straight shall we? Your dad first brought the Lincoln in to have the exhaust repaired in 2010. A few days later we did the brakes. 6 months later we replace the transmission. The exhaust is nowhere near the brakes, the brakes nowhere near the transmission. Then a few months later you brought us the Chevy. We did the radiator, heater core and CV axles and various seals that were leaking. 5 months later you brought it in for the fuel pump, water pump and the multifunction switch. Again 2 separated jobs on different areas of the vehicle. Please tell me how we "messed up one thing while fixing another"? That in NO WAY makes even a little bit of sense (even to someone with NO knowledge of auto repair). In every job your dad was called and informed what the charge would be for repairs. Your dad always gave the go ahead. Our warranty is plainly stated on every invoice yet you have never called us (like an adult would) instead you get on here (which is kinda childish) and slander our business with unfounded lies. Our labor rate is $55 per hour. I invite all to call various repair shops in Searcy and compare. Just ask what the hourly rate is. I think you will find we are one of the lowest in town. It may not the lowest but itís definitely one of the lowest. Use us...donít use us...everyone can chose. Call and compare the jobs. Sometime we are cheaper and sometime we aren't. We do offer free diagnostic if we do the repairs. If you don't like our cost for repairs, you pay the diagnostic and take it elsewhere or fix it yourself. We also offer our customers free towing in Searcy if we do the repairs....We warranty our work. If something happens to the part we replaced CONTACT US! We canít help if you automatically assume that we didn't fix it right. Do you really think new parts canít be defective??? We DO NOT manufacture parts in house. Thatís why we WARRANTY OUR WORK! Sometimes we do run into delays getting parts. Again, we don't make the parts. We have NO CONTROL over backorder part or parts that come in defective. We can't control if the parts supplier puts in the order wrong or even forgets to order the parts at all....IT HAPPENS unfortunately to ALL repair shops. I don't even know how to respond to the yahoo that claims we used his engine in a derby carÖI'm actually chuckling as I type this. First we havenít even had a car in the derby in years. We have sponsored some by helping with the cost of paint and I cut vinyl graphics and number for their cars. We have NEVER provided an engine in someoneís derby car especially not our customers...thatís just funny. We have been in business for over 10 years. In that time we have tried to make sure our customers are happy. We have found that some people you canít please no matter how hard you try. Others think that if you replace a part it should never fail again. Still others think that the parts are new so it canít be defective, it must be the repair shops fault. In 10 year we have had only 3 BBB cases opened on our business. All three were closed in favor of us. Our business has NEVER been sued. Simply put, WE DO NOT RIP OFF OUR CUSTOMERS!! Period. Check public records. Contact the BBB. Any complaint with or about Cantrellís Auto Repair can be easily resolve by making a simple phone call to us or stopping by the shop. Coming to a place like this is just childish and possibly slanderous (which I will be checking into).

My father brought in my lincoln because I was in basic training for military. And I do not believe you were anywhere near my vehicle. And soon after (CARS) fixed my vehicle the power steering went out. Oh and yalls little exhaust fix burnt the valves up. I also brought my Cadillac in there and he was going to charge me 150$ for a radiator hose repair or "replace". Which in fact I had removed and replaced all for 30$. Your correct it was childish of me too put y'all out there but I'm not ashamed and used my real name. Yalls work is shit. Con.. Repair should be the name of your business. Oh also my water pump had too be replaced in the Lincoln. Water pump..power steering.. Etc. I'll admit I was the dumbass bringing you my vehicles but y'all will never receive another dime from me. Or my dad. Thanks for your wonderful car auto repair work. It's terrible.
