There isnt anything you can do, except go get another job. Arkansas has an "at will" policy, they can hire and fire you without cause.

Sounds like a former county employee. If so, you were probably fired for no reason...

Yep been there before. Was falsely accuses and fired. Once they reviewed the surveillance they called and said I was telling the truth. I asked for my job back. They said NO. Ended up not only loosing my job but my house and car.

Yeah i hate that these companies can do whatever and how ever they please, take yarnells for example, just one day its gone just like that. Thank god they came back though. The oilfields slowing WAY down, so these jobs that where available, wont be there, i hope not, but searcy is in for hard times in theyre future. Im not saying searcy depends on the oilfield industry either, but the local buisness will feel the impact of alot less sales and income.

I work in the oilfield as well, im good for now maybe next year it might be a different story but as for now im good and the company i work for is going no where, secco is hiring for frac and drilling rig hands, they are going to a all in house facility, check that out before you up and move, it may keep you here instead of dragging the family all over.

The earlier statement that said you couldn't do anything is correct.
Arkansas is a "right to work state" if they say your services were no longer needed or that you didn't meet their expectations then you are just out of luck. It's a shame but it does make people work harder to keep their jobs once they realize that.
If your company is union, that might help a little, I'm not exactly sure how that works. If you were in a union, you need to make contact with the legal team and plead your case.

Good luck in your efforts.
