i dont know what happened to this store ,it must have new owners because they suck and they used to be ok , now their notttt!!!!! the store stinks it is filthy ,the prices are way to high ,we drove 2 hours for this fish store ,we also drove to cabot to safari pets ,very clean store and the people were very nice ,and they had more than one person to wait on every one unlike the fishbowl who had the rudest person ive ever encounterd in a fish store ,we were there over an hour and never got waited on i ask him about a hermit crab he didnt even know what kind it was or whether it was aggressive or not ,dont have employees in your store that cant even tell about the animals their supposed to be selling, he said he had to go get some mice for some one and he would be right back , i asked twice for him to wait on us because i wanted to buy some angel fish and a frogspawn coral , he kept waiting on every one at least 6 people and kept ignoreing us ,finnally there was know left in the store and i said were still waiting on our fish and he just kept his back to us and acted like he didnt hear us and kept writing on his yellow legal pad , his name was daniel tall skinny boy with a burr hair cut , i told my husband lets just leave ,and when we were walking out he said " HAVE FUN " i cant believe any one could be so rude at a fish store , he purposely did not wait on us , WHY ? who knows but i will never go to that store ever again and i will tell everyone that i know and i know alot of people that are in the saltwater business and freshwater business at memphis and cabot and all my friends that have reef aquariums and fresh water aquariums about my experience at that store ,and will find out who the owners are now ,even if its him ,all the fish stores in memphis are great the people are very nice , the stores are clean ,ill list them for you , memfish in yorkshire plaza off of mt moriah ,and kermits reef at cordova ,and something fishy in the same area ,and bobs tropicals ,these are all great fish stores ,so the fish bowl if your confused about how to run a fish store or how its supposed to look in side or how your employees should treat customers go take a look at these stores before you get shut down or you run off all your customers that only come your store because your the only one in searcy !!!!! oh and by the way " HAVE FUN " !!!!!!

I would have given him a good old fashion butt chewing or worse. thanks i'll be sure and not go there Or maybe I will just to see how clean it is and if its not then I will report to the humane society. You should do the same and find out who the owner is. they may be just a worker

That place is horrible! Its so filthy in there! and I know its a pet store, but hell, it doesnt have to smell like a pet cemetary!

The owner is the same guy it as always been, His name is Jack. He is a good man. But since he stopped running the store his self and has hired help it as went down hill fast. Jack was always there and helped every one. The employs are not Harding students sad to say they are from Searcy. We think that Jack as know Idea what is going on in there or what all is being "sold". We have complained once and Jack came back for a little bit but then hired worse employs. I think if he would get a lot of complaints then maybe we could bet our good pet store back,like it was befor they moved to this building. We too go to Safari Pets for our fish. They actully stay alive..
Jack if you read this Please Please FIX your store.

I agree with nickel. I have always liked Jack! When he was at the old location he had one of the best stores around! He was always willing to help with any problems and always had a clean store! I had never seen anyone so wise about any type of fish. Recommended him to everyone. I too stopped going to the new location. Just didn't feel as welcome as when Jack ran it. Maybe if he is reading this he will take care of it and it will become the store it used to be!Jack we miss you!

We were comming back from Texas and happened to stop in we cant tell you how shocked we were at what we saw. These people should be reported.
