He had been out longer than that because he got married in the end of December, it had been 3 months. Also, his parents helped raise his daughter. Many grandparents want to help raise their grandchildren. People make mistakes, they are human. I never said he was perfect, but he had a good heart. You should probably read the first post that says "no negativity." Have a little respect for his family and friends dealing with their loss.

Dustin was a great guy with a huge heart. It saddens me to read stuff like this being publicly placed for his parents, family, and close friends like myself to see. People do make mistakes and some people have harder times than others getting the chains broken on addictions. He is a graduate of Renewal Ranch, a faith based rehab. I rest assured in knowing that, while he did overdose (I refuse to name the substance for his family's sake), he did have a faith in Jesus Christ as his savior. By the sounds of it, you might need some of that faith he had.

It's pitiful that you're willing to air someone else's personal business, especially in the wake of their death, and tarnish their name for your own sake, but aren't brave enough to show your own identity. My guess is you're not such a good person yourself. But hey, who am I to judge? I'm not. I'll leave that to my man upstairs. What ever happened to 'rest in peace'? Would you want things posted about you on a public forum following your death? Respect. Get some.

It really must, because you're still not willing to show your identity. TRUTH is, it would probably be in your own best interest if you didn't.

Dustin was an awesome person. He had a huge heart. And although he lost the battle to addiction in the end, the fact is it was a battle everyday. A battle he fought. He no longer has to fight that battle. He is with our Father now. I don't care how he died, Jesus loves him & so do I. If you have something ugly to say, keep it to yourself. Because those of us who love him wont change the way we feel!! I love you, Dustin. RIP, my friend!!

Dustin was one of the most respectful young men I have ever known. He always showed respect to any one he came in contact with! He was nothing more than a big sweet teddy bear. He was a lot like me in many ways! He was a country boy who loved to fish and hunt and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a protector of those that he loved! He wanted desperately to be free of his addictions! The last few months of his life he was a changed man who was after the heart of God! He as the rest of us had his own demons to fight and we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God! We are human! Jesus said if we say we have no sin then we are liars and the truth is not in us! I loved Dustin Harris and I miss his sweet smile and laugh! We had the same birthday and this year will not be the same without him! I walked through his addictions with him and I know how very hard it was for him! None are perfect but one and that is God so none of us have a right to judge others for their sins we should examine our selves! I love and miss you buddy and will always remember you! May God have mercy on us all!
