You are in great hands. Have boarded my dog twice and it is super clean and reasonable. Also had all shots and very reasonable. Someone else had to take their dog after hours and they were great. You won't be sorry. I have used vets in town for years and the prices are much better.

I have had both mills and towns work with my dogs from that clinic and will never let mills work with them again. Towns on the other hand was amazing with my dogs and I would recommend him for sure.

Dr. Mills is one of the best Vets in town!!!! He actually cares about the animal and the owner not about the $$$.

Towns is great but Mills is the greatest. Really cares about your animal. Some people don't like him because he gets on to YOU if you don't take care of your pet. He is all about the pet. I love him.

Mills was terrible with my dog and was very rough with him. He tried to intimidate him after we informed him that our dog is very afraid of new people and then didn't put him up on the table very carefully and he fell off.

And towns sat in the floor with our dog after we informed him and did the checkup from the ground and made sure our dog was comfortable. Very great guy.

When I made an appointment with this clinic, I did not specify which vet because I thought there were only the two. I was shocked when Mills entered the exam room. His knowledge and skills as a veterinarian may be impeccable, but in my opinion his manner leaves much to be desired. My pet only needed shots so I only had to endure Mills unique personality briefly. Otherwise, I would have immediately walked out. I won't be returning.

Mills is a great man and yes, an impeccable doctor. His personality is fine if you are taking care of your pet. The first time I met him, he was mean to me because I was trying to be cheap about the care of my cat. He asked why I chose his clinic (Searcy Animal Clinic back then) and when I said because they were cheapest, he didn't chew me out, but he gave me a lecture. I felt like a child being scolded by my Grandpa. Lol.
But he was right, if you're going to have a pet, by ding dangies, pay what you're supposed to in order to take care of that pet.
I've used that clinic ever since, and that was over 10 years ago. If someone brings in a pet that isn't being taken care of, he will tell you about it. But if you're on the other side and always bring in your pets in a healthy condition, he will praise you and be sure to let you know how good of a pet owner you are. And that, my friend, feels great. He made me feel really good as a dog trainer/breeder. Gave me tips on puppy shipping, and showed me pictures of his own dogs.... he's a nice man. I miss him at the clinic, haven't been to Honey Hill, but they are lucky to have him.

We have used Dr Mills for years. We went to Honey Hill when he did. He is a fantatic man and a great Dr. He has always been very good with our babies and us. But we take care of our babies and he knows it. I also like Dr. Towns and will not go anywhere but there. If you had a bad experience it is because you do not take care of your babies.

Allow me to reiterate and emphasize, my point was not to critique or to even bring into question Dr Mills skills or knowledge as a veterinarian. My first encounter with him was years ago, while he was with Dr. Wiley Dunn, who was my vet for many years. I will acknowledge that Dr Mills did indeed compliment the care and health of my animals. During the unexpected second visit at the newer clinic, in addition to praise he commented "Keep doing exactly what you've been doing." My pets, both times, were there for routine visits. While it is lovely to be complimented, personally I don't feel it negates the entire experience. Superchick, for a professional to chastise a client for the reason you chose him is absurd to me. While my experience was not the same as yours, others have expressed being made to feel like a child as you did. Your own words reinforce my initial unfavorable opinion of his manner. I feel that a widely known, but poorly executed psychological tactic is employed to establish an illusion of superiority. I do not appreciate perceived attempts of manipulation. It's hardly a picnic for the pets or their caretakers to visit the vet even for routing care. In addition to selecting a vet for their expertise, I consider it to be helpful when the professional's manner toward the animal and the owner is pleasant. Tazmom, there is a difference between a "bad" experience and an undesirable one. I fail to understand how expressing my personal opinion of a professional's demeanor warrants accusations of improper care of beloved pets. I bear no ill will, and wish Dr. Mills and the Honey Hill Clinic the best in the world and am thankful for another clinic to locate in the area. I won't return due to the awkwardness trying to avoid someone I don't find comfortable to be around. I do not doubt there are many who adore Dr. Mills, he is still in practice after all. Neither do I doubt there are some who don't, as with any other vet. That's my opinion and as the saying goes, everybody has one. I still stand by mine, and the right to voice it.
