What ever LBUSB's Union Masters decide should be done is plenty good enough for the likes of us and our tragically unrepresented children.

They should rent that school out to private enterprise interested in establishing a private school. In that area, enough parents would be happy to pay to have their kids actually get an education without all the riff raft from poorer neighboring areas, who do nothing but undermine the education process for the smarter kids.

No Long Beach schools should be named after those colonial slavemasters, like Monroe, Washington, Jefferson. Better to name them after the heros of the Mexican Revolution.

The next school they should close is Rodgers Junior High. Then license it out to the highest bidder to establish a shelter for the homeless, and mentally ill.

Think about how many we could house in that one school! Plus, integrating the homeless and the mentally ill into belmont shore would serve as a reminder to those residents of how fortunate they are, and to not take their good luck for granted.

Plus the vibrancy of 2nd street, and the beach in summertime, would rise exponentially, and that's always a good thing.

This would be a win/win situation for everyone!

LET'S DO THIS!!!

Wealthy taxpayer supported Big Teachers are high paid Government agents. Every school closed will enable free-spending out-of-control California politicians to funnel a little more loot into their bulging pockets.
