FEMA offered 1000 generators to Volunteer Fire Depts on Long island they took them all. Went to members familys and all volleys the generators not people that needed it, what a scam - another bad job by Volleys and FEMA.......

The Volunteer Fire depts on LI take care of there own first then residents. During the snow storm the plowed members homes first. Now the used all the spare generators for members homes, and used town equipment to pump out members homes first before responding to any calls. When a disapointment and true sad

firemen and cops suck the local economies dry then want more.
how many firemen (i dont call them fire fighters)are caught setting fires so they can be the first one there.

So why did the Volunteers take so long for responces, why were they seen at members homes installing generators and cleaning members propertys with Volunteer vehicles and equipment and members in uniform. Sad to see how they operate. Emergencys 2nd, members 1st in a Hurricane.
