The only thing that would make this story more humorous would have been if the NYPD would have found a random black guy in the pharmacy on a cell phone and filled him so full of lead they turned him into a #2 pencil, LOL.

Because a New York cop greased an off duty ATF agent in civilian clothes the ATF agent is a hero? LOL, I guess I'll never be a hero, then.

The man not only was a hero because he tried to stop the robbery, he has also served in Afghanistan and Iraq.

You are nothing but a piece of garbage who enjoys freedom of speech thanks to men like this ATF agent. There you are, sitting in your Mommy's basement surrounded by pizza boxes wasting your life away trolling on internet message boards.

You are truly a piece of human filth.

6) You are truly a piece of human filth.
1) any armed civilian in civilian clothes is placing themselves needlessly in harms way over insured money and insured pharmaceuticals, super civilian should have used his cell phone to call for police and monitored the robbery from a safe vantage point until uniformed police arrived, making mental notes on the situation.

2) Iraq and Afghanistan service is laudable, but irrelevant in this news story.

3) I served in the US Navy from 1976-1982, thank you!

4) Actually, since ATF agents work in the federal executive branch, I don't owe my right to free speech to the agent. In fact, if you read Amendment I to the US Constitution, Congress may not enact laws that abridge my freedom of speech, so it is the US Constitution that prevents the ATF agent from abridging my right to freedom of speech, nice try though.

5) No, I'm not, but you sure seem to be familiar with the whole pizza box, mamma's basement scenario.

6) LOL, that's a pretty big word set for a 12 year old.

If anything, this news story serves to remind concealed carry licensed civilians that they may want to think twice before whipping their civilian concealed carry piece out during the witnessing of a third party robbing a business. These cops all shot each other thinking that each other was the robber, LOL. What a cluster fk.

"Multiple area news outlets cited anonymous sources offering varying accounts how the shooting unfolded...And The Wall Street Journal reported someone said the gun the suspect was believed to be carrying may have been fake."

LOL, wouldn't that be ironic, if this is correct then the article should read, "ATF agent killed by toy gun, President Obama urges Congress to regulate toy industry"

I only read part of the article, I have to be honest the NYPD guys I have met are not the brightest bulb in the pack. I know NYPD keeps lowering standard to get the NYPD job and the entrance exam is more like a 4th grade elementary school exam. You get the bottom of the barrel and real low quality of officers that way.

If a person could make better money off of, car stunt driving, fist fighting and pistol marksmanship, they sure as hell wouldn't be wasting their talents getting paid schmootzie to listen to civil domestic squabbles and arresting shoplifters, LOL.
