Has anyone heard anything about the jumper on the Fred Hartman Bridge this morning?

“What is what I say is true?”

Since: Jan 09

What then would you do?

It wasn't me!

Probably some poor lost soul that could have used a joint, a chair and a friend like me to listen though.

Get a hold of me if you're thinking about offing yourself.

Yes, it was my aunt and she has passed. We ask that you kindly say a prayer for her and little one as this has been certainly a difficult day for us all.

Thank you for your concern!

I could but I am not sure that it would be okay to release her name at this point. Why do you ask? I can say that she is originally from Kansas City, MO.

So sorry for your loss. I can only imagine why someone could feel that desparate to do something like that.

Thank you concernedmommio!

We are all wondering why as well, as she was a very well established woman and very proud of being a mother. It was just Christmas of last year that she and her son came to visit she smiling so bright. I guess the fact is you never really know what is on ones mind.

Just out of curiousity... I tried to look at your local tv stations and papers but couldn't seem to find out what they are saying happened. Do you guys know where I might look? I'm still in KC.

Do you know if her son needs anything? Is he old enough to take care of himself?

Thank you but he will be well taken care of... He is only 6 years old and I think right now he doesn't quite realize that mommy won't be back.

The local paper is actually called the BAYTOWN SUN. the link is www.baytownsun.com . Thus far, nothing is posted.

Rob... is the little boy autistic??

I'm sorry for your families loss. I can't imagine being so desperate and afraid that suicide was my only option. I pray for her little boy and for her soul.

Baytown,

Why do you ask if the boy is autistic?

A little boy at a daycare where someone I know works was pulled out yesterday because they were told his mom committed suicide and they were waiting for family from out of state to arrive. I am assuming it was CPS or Sheriff who made the call. We were just wondering if it was her. The circumstances, vehicle, etc. are all very coincidental.
