Please discuss morals.

There are three levels of morality:

The first and most primitive: A person will break any rule to enrich himself and will obey any rule only to avoid punishment. The right or wrong of the act is irrelevant. Children are impulsive and will steal without understanding the consequences. Adults will refuse to cooperate with the police for fear of reprisal from the criminal.

The second is rules based. A person will obey the rules of the group or clan, knowing it is a bad rule, but also knowing that it is best for the group. Right and wrong for the whole group is at stake. Speed limits on the highway or a minimum drinking age are examples. Outlawing Pot with the idea that it will keep drugs out of the hands of kids is another.

The third level requires the most maturity and is the first that is internalized. We make moral rules for ourselves that serve higher standards of Right and Wrong. Clint Eastwood and John Wayne are examples: They do the “right thing” regardless of the law and the local rules and regardless of the consequences.

So, please discuss.

I would add Macro-economics and Consumer Economics in favor of Sociology and Government. Government is nothing but economics anyway.

Well no one is going against Clint Eastwood or John Wayne but realize that's in the movies. If it's yours, it's not mine..................... 'nuff said

If you don't believe like I do then you are morally wrong and if you are morally wrong then that makes me right. (Distorted reasoning)

I will get on your lawn as long as you don't have a "No Trespassing Sign" on it.

East: You'll be escorted off her lawn by LaPorte's Finest even if there is no sign and then asked what business you had there.
Do you think you can go anywhere you want on private property???
