Exeter?

In July, Conte also filed a civil lawsuit in Hampton District Court, claiming four Seabrook police officers threatened his life. In a request he made to Seabrook police, Conte asked for copies of alleged threatening phone calls made to him by police on several dates in late June and early July, documents show. Conte said on Thursday he has filed a case in Rockingham Superior Court against the Seabrook officers.

In an unrelated matter, the AG's office in July identified Tetreault as the Seabrook police officer who drove a cruiser at 100 mph through a red light and crashed into a pickup truck driven by a civilian. The Feb. 5, 2010, crash in North Hampton occurred during another pursuit during which Tetreault broke three state laws pertaining to emergency vehicles, according to a state police accident report. The driver of the pickup truck was hospitalized for a concussion and injuries to his left knee and neck, according to the report. Seabrook police have refused to disclose whether Tetreault has faced any disciplinary action in relation to the incident.

In another case, a boyfriend of a woman reported that L'Esperance met them at the Old Fire Barn in Seabrook, where L'Esperance gave the woman Percocet pills hidden in a cigarette pack in exchange for a sexual favor the night before. The man also said he stole $230 worth of merchandise from the Seabrook Home Depot, returned it to the Hampton Home Depot and then sold the gift card to L'Esperance for $160.

Howard Brown Jr. of Farm Lane is suing Currier and Seabrook officer John Wasson for allegedly damaging his reputation by falsely arresting him in 2004, according to court records. Wasson arrested Brown on charges of interfering with a police investigation of his son. The Rockingham County Superior Court dismissed the case in 2005 because statements given by witnesses to the police were not provided before trial, according to court records filed by Brown's attorney, Richard Foley of Portsmouth.

Janvrin said that at the heart of his motives is the way a few local officers treat "native Seabrook residents," plus the belief that complaints about police aren't taken seriously by town officials, he said. "Right now, if you have a complaint about police, you're told to go speak with police Chief Patrick Manthorn," Janvrin said. "When you do that, he's supposed to assign an officer to do an internal investigation. But there's the perception that an investigation is never done, because the result of investigations are never reported back to the people who complain."

"If this happened in Seabrook, we would take care of you guys! This is ridiculous. You guys are a (expletive) joke! I am a 30-year sergeant, and you are going to do this to me? Really? My life and my career are over! I hope you guys are (expletive) happy!"

I live in Seabrook and I can say that whenever I need police assistance I am extremely reluctant to call them. It makes no sense to, I pay taxes in this town and those officers get paid with a sliver of that money I paid in for taxes. Its like paying for a service that doesn't do anything...why waste the money??? Thats why we need a police commission, to make sure the police officers are held accountable for every shift that they work. To ensure that the money that they are paid is not wasted and that people don't feel like the PD is completely useless. I have been stolen from, had tires slashed and other ruthless things done by little punks in this this town. I thought we pay them to hunt down scum bags in this town who make other peoples lives difficult. Someone needs to throw a toe up in these pigs and if a police commission can do it, then so be it.

If I lived in Seabrook and was a Police Officer I would seek employment in another town. "Native Seabrook Resident, Jason Janvrin and newer to the town, Max are the crudest people around, always cutting people down. Show some respect and maybe just maybe people might listen to you if you had more positive thoughts once in a while, but way too much negativity coming out of your nasty mouths. Your a joke to that town. Glad I don't have you in my town.
