I do hope all the members of the family are ok, kicking mom in the throat could have caused her serious problems. But in all truth be known...a teenager is not ENTITLED to a phone. His parents can take the phone away, because they are paying the bills. That boy needs some serious readjustment of his attitude big time.

Eighteen, abusive, an adult. And as stated by LLBD is not "entitled." And of course a liar too by saying "not guilty" as most charged with a crime do just to force the trial system to prove it.
He needs a long time in a cell for an attitude adjustment and then needs to live elsewhere and pay for his own phone. Each conviction should get a separate jail time to be served consecutively with no plea deals.

Agree with you both. Someone better put this 18 year old brat in his place. Kids today are way too obsessed with cell phones. What ever happened to kids respecting their parents wishes and demands??? I know at 18 it's hard to be told what to do as you are getting older, etc. But how can you do that to your own family.

Those darn kids! Please. There have always been rebellious teens, always. Every generation says the same thing..."What is it with kids these days".

That does not justify what this ADULT did. He should face jail time and I hope his parents do not allow him to come back. By the way, parents need to accept some responsibility too.
