NOTHING "accidental" here. All three, and too many more of these tragedies, are actually NEGLIGENT shootings. Where were the PARENTS?

Pedersen said it is not clear if gun control will come up for debate in the next legislative session, which begins in January.

YET... the title says...
State lawmakers look at gun control changes after accidental shootings

misleading story....

King5 is also the news station that said a local gun shop was closing it's doors after they ran a story about "rouge" gun shops, using info that was 3-10 years old.... They created a scare with the gun shop customers, that the shop is still trying to repair.

"Carlile’s brother shot her with their father’s gun. Their father, Derek Carlile, a Marysville police officer, was put on trial, but a jury could not reach a verdict on the manslaughter charge." LOL, because the jury was hung up on the symbolgy of the criminal being a cop and not a black kid from the hood. Once again, cops can murder, rape, lie and steal, but since they are like catholic priests, they get away with it.

There's no story here, people are allowed to breed, they make mistakes and the rest of us are made to pay for their criminal negligence.

Well, if they were legal able to carry their firearm, then they probably wouldn't have left it in the vehicle. If the decision is to leave the gun, take the kids. You can't legislate morality or stupid.

He didn't directly pull the trigger or force anyone else to shoot anyone in this matter. The jury couldn't find malice or hatred or criminal intent in his behavior or lack of forethought. They were very reluctant to have him convicted on the charges given to them. He was overcharged and the jury should have had much lesser charges to consider which didn't include jail time or making him a felon. They didn't so they used a method of jury nullification to make their point and not convict him.
