Anyone who grows up in a dysfunctional family will have baggage. Trying to grow up with cameras in your face, whether it's 24/7 or not,is not normal. So basically this is a dysfunctional family.I wonder if they set up a shrink fund for the kids along with college funds. They are going to need it

Kate will only agree to counseling if TLC pays for it and it gives her mileage and face time with the camera. And only if she can wear her vast amounts of bikinis. Maybe seeing herself on the cover of Star in all her orange
lumpy playdough behind will be a wake-up call for her. Even the Kardashians cover up more than her.

There are many families that have gone thru a Divorce and came out a heck of a lot better than to be exposed to two parents that hate each other and constantly fighting with each other in front of the kids.

At least the children now have peace and quiet with Kate when she is home and they don't have to listen to any of the "remarks" Jon and Kate were throwing at each other.

These kids will end up being just fine. Kate has set bounderies and guidelines for her children and they will learn they all have to help one another which large families need to do.

I'm speaking from experience as I walked away from an alcoholic and abusive husband when my children were only 10, 8, 3 & 18 months old. Today, they are all grown with families of their own and are very successful in their careers. None of them used drugs or alcohol and we all pulled togeter, and still do. Being a Single Parent is very hard work - but it can be done.
