The city manager said manager in the interview, that payment a plan may be an option for those who can not afford the rate increase. Well....if you cant afford the water bill how in the world does he think anyone can afford a payment plan, no common sence...I do not want to get on other things in his town that is wrong, but if you live here you know what they are...

This is absolutely crazy!!! First taxes, now water!! I don't know if we'll be able to afford to live here or not. We are paying an extra $500 a month now living in this city!!
I just pray these city officials come to their senses.

We have to continue to go to council meetings as citizens or our officials will criple us financially. They are not looking out for our best interest. That is obvious. I am worried about the less fortunate citizens, resturaunts and small businesses in town. This is a critical time. STAND UP FOR YOUR VALUES AND FOR JUSTICE. peacefully but boldly

Oh my I have a $200 water bill, how can I afford my half million dollar McMansion built on old cottonfields, 3 cars, computer in every room etc. Face it Crandallites, the town was always a small town of community houses and blue collar people. Now after the influx of those from Dallas it tried to become just another "rich man's surburb" and it now reaps what they sewed. Maybe you all should have settled for modest homes you might be able to afford the outrageous water bills you now face.

We think we as citizens of Crandall should be shown water bills from any City Council Members, Mayor,Mayor Pro-tem,City Manager, City Secretary, Human Resource Director and any other city employees who reside in the city limits. We were personally told by a high ranking city official that his water bill was $70.00 per month. As citizens we think we all deserve an explanation of why his water bill is so small and our bills are so high.Surely this is public knowledge, maybe this information should be printed in the Crandall paper or maybe the Media needs to be enlightened regarding our city being unfair with its citizens because of bad management. And, if this is a violation of the Privacy Act then they should volunteer this information if they have nothing to hide. We are only concerned citizens because we love this city.

Need to vote out Judge Robert Beasley. This guy is part of the city corruption to use the Police to collect revenue. The section of 175 that runs through Crandall is used as nothing more than a radar speed trap. Don't ever pay one of these fines! Get a jury trial... they don't make any money after costs of the trial. Also, think about replacing the city council, as they are the ones that are promoting the misuse of the police force.

Ron, I think your missing the point. I have a house that is very small and modest. The point is the City Of crandall has mismanaged our tax dollars for years and now they want us to pay for it with high taxes and rediculously high water bills. Crandall sold their only park land ( Webb park ) to a developer and the loan officer who was paid a large commision was the mayor Cody Frazier. Wake up people, this town is corrupt

Buy in Combine it's more prestiegeous AND lower cost of living. A tax rate of 25 cents per 100$ value compared to 75 cents per 100$ value water bills are about 40$ unless you are an exsessive yard waterer and no sewage bill. It's a no brainer! And I'm looking!

Almost bought a house last year in Crandall. God does work in mysterious ways he also knows I can't afford their water bills. Thank you Jesus for steering me away from this den of gluttens. And the sheep to asleep to vote the council out. I do drive through Crandall 5 days a week and see thier police force out every day. It is sad that they get police for minium wage and a full traffic ticket book and let them loose on the public.

Be glad you don't live in Heath, on Forney Lake Water Supply. If you like to see "good old boys" treatment it's rampant.

I bet you don't see the police like you should. New council cut our police by 3 people and didn't save us a dime. If you aren't speeding through our town you wont have to worry about the police.
