465k teacher articles
which do you think is a bigger problem? I think you need to reevaluate
There are only about 40,000 catholic priests in the US that are supposed to be spiritual leaders of the catholic faith.

There are about 7 million teachers in the US.

Per capita, I would say priests pose a greater danger.

Your logic is ludicrous. Neither are acceptable. Your facts are scewed by MSM reporting. Check out story by AP and study by Hofstra University

2500 cases of teacher sex abuse cases the last 5 years. Statistics also show 3 teachers per

in the last 52 years 4400 cases for priests.

Neither are acceptable, but the big 'hidden secret' is how bad the public school problem is. The only time you really hear about it on a national level is when it's some hot chic teacher raping a 'willing' 14 or 15 yr old.

In any group of adults working with children you can find a**holes willing to hurt them. What about cub scout leaders? The occasional daycare providers?

We can go on and on and on with this .. we ALL must be vigilant and responsive to an accuser and open minded to the accused until facts prove one way or the other.

Wouldn't "inappropriate conduct" for a priest be something like giving Mrs. Murphy a lascivious goggle eye stare? Since the police are involved doesn't it seem that this incident of inappropriate conduct in PUBIC with an adult is more than just a priestly pat on the behind. Just wondering.

Pappusamy Johnson is a very good catholic priest as he was with me in the seminary for the theological studies. It is unfortuinate that such a thing happened to him. We are praying for his welfare that he would get out of this mess. I would like to see him back safe with all forgiveness and healing.

Do you expect something magic to happen in the life of priests...then give him the world of angels and not human beings...dare to be a priest and then one would know the difficulties, hardships, sufferi ngs. A priest is a human being who always grows in holiness with falls and risings. He needs utmost understanding and concern. We are praying for Johnson's welfare. Come safe with all healing and forgiveness.
