Oh shut up! You're only concerned with Afghanistan and Pakistan because you're afraid of offending the anti-war voters. Get a spine!

One more point. Throughout the campaign Obama railed against Bush for the troop surge in Iraq. Now he is using some of the very same strategies for Afghanistan. Yet during the campaign Tom Perriello praised Obama and stated that he stood with Obama on the Iraq surge. But have we seen Mr. Perriello on the House floor speaking out against the new Obama strategy? No, sort of like when Perriello said he didn't agree with the so called stimulus bill but voted for it anyway. He didn't even read the thing.

Go where? Down the same road as the rest of the politicians in Washington. More worried about getting re-elected than actually getting something done. Yeah, go Perriello vote for some more bills without reading them.

Virgil is right where he should be, back in his trailor court, hopefully learning how to open his mouth and speak. Get over yourselves, the train has left the station, it's time to move on.

It's okay to make such comments if you're a liberal, but you're stereotyping a group, i.e. trailer court residents, if you're a conservative.

Obama, now realizes that we have won and have accomplished everything we wanted to do in Iraq. his advisors there have told him that if he pulls out now and the country fails, he would look like a real fish out of water. His plan now is along the same time table as Pres. Bush.

Surprise, a lot of us grew up in trailer courts, and do know how to open our mouths and speak. I'm not addressing this directly toward Mr. Perriello, but more toward the liberal "elite" in Washington who have the better than you attitude toward all conservatives. As a proud conservative, I judge people for who they are and what they make of themselves. I'm not looking for representatives who want to keep me indebted by handing me everything in order to buy my vote.

I also believe Obama learned a lot of the classified information about the war in Iraq in the weeks before he was sworn in. Suddenly it wasn't an such a waste to be there. Remember it was reported that Obama developed a nervous "tic" after being in office a couple of weeks? Not such an easy job afterall.

You must be one of his neighbors then by the way you talk? The Obama train has left alright with a couple hundred BILLION of our tax dollars on it that my grandchildren will have to pay back. If Periello would grow a spine and represent the interests of us, his constituants, and stop running ads on how great he thinks he is he could get to work and do something we would be proud of!!!

Make your mind up, are you telling me I'm one of his neighbors, or are you asking? The Obama train is trying to catch up and overtake the Bush train that got created all of this mess in the first place. Perriello is much more in touch and in tune with his constituants then mush mouth Virgil ever was.

Obama is just spending and spending and putting us further into debt and "hoping" this happens but using the old "we don't know what will happen we just hope for the best" line like every other politician. Bush didn't start this this has been oncoming before then and you learn in economics 101 you cannot spend your way out of a recession. Perriello just wants a pat on the back if he would do as he says and not just go along with his party then I would respect him. But when he admitted he didn't agree with the stimulus bill but voted for it anyway and he admitted he didn't bother reading it I lost all respect for him.

When exactly did it become "Virgil Goode's seat?"

Doesn't that seat belong to the people? Perhaps Goode's assumption that it was "his seat" was why he no longer occupies it. Maybe if he had been looking out for our seat instead of his, we would stll allow him to occupy the seat!
