Hey Yolo from London, if only this were about finding the killer. This lawsuit is about trying to hold RMC accountable for Morgan's death. There is no mention of the killer being responsible. Or of Morgan and her friends' behavior that day and night. If she was drinking and or doing drugs earlier that evening, that's likely what caused her fall and her erratic behavior before and after she chose to leave the arena.

Can the staff keep an eye on everyone that shows up at a concert? They are there to keep peace not babysit. This young lady, though sad as the case may be, needs to shoulder some of the responsibility. Sorry, but she acted irresponsibly as did in my opinion, her friends.
When you have a girl get into what she thought was a cab (no markings etc.), and get assaulted, obviously the judgement of an 18-19-20 year old is severly clouded by alcohol and maybe drugs. Suing RMC is not the answer to saving the next girl.

I think it is pretty obvious that an individual was responsible for her actual death. But RMC was negligent, their own policies judge them and prove they were negligent in this instance. The higher purpose of this lawsuit is the possibility of more information being revealed which could lead to finding the individual at whose hands Morgan died. I feel sure the money gained would fulfill a higher purpose as well. Time will tell. Yolo's on the right track.

LOL, the higher purpose of this lawsuit is to bump up the greedily hoped for award another $400K -- NOT to find the random killer the poor girl met when she made the poor decision to hitch hike. I used to think a greedy lawyer talked them into it, but now I think maybe the mom is the money grubbing one.

My take; Harrington fell on the concrete steps that resulted in a severe concussion. A witness corroborates this as they saw her with a severe gash on the chin and no smell of alcohol. She should have been taken to a hospital asap.
Security dropped the ball by not following up on her erratic behavior and detaining her INSIDE the building until all was figured out. RMC should have been sued for at least 10 million. The Harringtons are too nice.

I love the comment about drunk people at metal concerts. I've been to many concerts including this one. I just have to put it out there that country concerts attract far more drinkers than any metal show I have ever been to, but yet there is repeated country concerts month after month held at jpj and not one metal show since. I wonder why that is?
Also that night I tried to go outside and smoke myself and was quickly told I would not be readmitted. So I am pretty confident she was told the same.
Blaming RMC is completely ridiculous. RMC staff are not trained medical professionals. If she was walking out of the building on her own will RMC staff is not held accountable for any decisions she should make afterwards. Simple as that.
I am sure the no rentry is a crock of shit !

Myself and a close friend both left JPJA to SMOKE right on the front steps and returned with a simple SMILE months before this incident.

So far no camera footage of her has been acknowledged, but witnesses saw her ambling through the parking lot, talking with strangers, dropping her purse from time to time, asking a group of basketball players for a ride, and near some port o pottys, she curtsied at a pair of workers when they looked at her. Next, several witnesses saw her up on the Copeley Road Bridge hitch hiking. Dogs traced her movements through the lot and then her scent trail ended on the bridge, where she undoubtedly caught a ride. The friends spoke with her when she was outside; she told them she'd find a ride.

Rumor has it that she did this kind of thing all the time -- get too high, act stupid, take off from the group, and show up later or even the next day. They were allegedly fighting on the way to the concert, Morgan and at least one of her friends. Maybe they were mad that she took whatever drug she took because it tended to make her act weird. Maybe they sensed the impending doom and didn't want Morgan to do whatever she was about to do. Maybe both.

Hopefully, this type of behavior will come out in the trial so there's a clear picture of her norms and habits, and people will understand why her friends didn't rush to her rescue, and didn't worry too terribly about her showing back up again. She was no stranger to concerts, and often went to those weekend long music fests where she camped with friends and had a great time doing who knows what. Those are pretty hard core places where anything can happen, and does -- assaults, robbery, rape, drugs, heavy drinking -- so we know she was no waif scared by a heavy metal crowd or a few students in a parking lot. She was pretty worldly for her age. These details will be important for the jury to understand, and in the end will probably exonerate her friends and their response to her getting herself locked out of the show.

As Morgan's mom has said, it just wasn't her night. Just a bad combination of bad decisions, and a bad guy who took advantage.

You do know her murderer has not been found yet, right?
Because she will NEVER RIP until her killer has been brought to justice, and maybe next time, it will be your sister or girlfriend who is lying naked and dead in a field with her bones crushed, at the hands of the same perpetrator.
Would you like us to say, hey, leave it alone. Let her RIP. Let it be.
Is that what you would like us to say then? Hey screw the killer, he got away, nevermind, let her RIP.
so how do you know that she was murdered at all and how do you know that her bones were crushed before she died?

Actually, I heard her folks on with a radio psychic twice recently and the lady says Morgan is completely at peace. She's not even mad at the killer, and knows that she made mistakes that night that precipitated things. It wasn't anything personal. Just was what it was. She wishes, in fact, that her parents would move on and live their lives and be happy. So...there you go, FWIW.

Everyone that dies, are asleep & won't be awake until the judgement day. So those that have died can not hear you. The devil tricks the people into hearing them. Do not follow the path of the devil of eternal death. Follow the lord for eternal life! Those of you that don't listen, will wish that they had. Read your bible & pray that God will give you everlasting life.

Really tolerant of other peoples' beliefs, huh? So yours is the only 'right' religion and interpretation of the bible? Get some real education in religion and tolerance of others' beliefs.

However, I was surprised that the Harringtons would talk with a psychic now, after turning them away before now. It smacks of desperation and is so sad. They heard what they wanted to hear, or it was a tactic to try to bring the murderer or accomplice out in the open.

I suppose that is one theory, but that would be ill-advised. The first thing that a company does when they are being sued, or if there is even the hint of a pending lawsuit, is to instruct the employees to hold their tongues, and if they have any information, to speak to the corporate attorneys before going to the police. Then the corporate attorneys censure the statement or control what the witness has to say to protect the company. A lawsuit is the fastest way to get people to shut up, not speak up.
No lawsuit was filed until the statute of limitations began to run out. Employees had two years to wag the tongues before that. But I have a feeling RMC needed no threat of lawsuit to "take care" of employee witnesses shortly after Morgan was reported missing.

It was just another way to keep the case in the public eye. Internet radio, so probably not so much in the public eye -- more angled towards case regulars. But it was interesting nonetheless. The psychic thinks the guy is in PA right now, lying low. Works in forestry. Has blemishes on his face. Has murdered before, according to her. Likes to rape.

After exiting JPJ Morgan is reported to have curtsied to two young men near the port-a-potties.

How might we assume that Morgan--a person alleged to have sustained a very serious concussion--would be able to execute a curtsy? Recall that a curtsy requires the woman to bend the knees with one foot forward, one foot bent behind, and lower her body.

People--especially and including the attorney for the plaintiff--are extrapolating a small cut sustained on the chin (not a bleeding, gaping wound) to a concussion severe enough to impair Morgan's cognitive and physical functions.

Not if she was able to curtsy.
