Okay, I'm going to take a page from the Liberal Manual (that dumps everything on the NEXT generation . . .) -- I don't care, I won't BE here.

They've been studying this issue when the area almost ran out of H2O back in 2003-2004. Waste of taxpayer dollars! Here it is almost 8 years later and nobody has made a decision yet....is there a pattern here or what? The land of revisited issues.

If charlottesville and albemarle county does not slow their growth rates, they won't have any water in the next fifty years. Turning a farm into a three hundred unit subdivision time and time again will only help to destroy this area faster. The liberal frame of mind should not only be lost, it should be banned.

THANK YOU!! I don't understand that mind-set, either. I mean, they don't want us going out and shooting Bambi -- but then they have no problem bull-dozing Bambi's forest to build their subdivisions or shopping centers -- and have kids upon kids to fill them up!!

I don't think you people know what the word "liberal" means.

NBC29 did not answer its own headline.

What will the water supply look line in 2060?

A few lines relating the study's findings might have been pertinent to the story, no?

It will look exactly the same...and the headlines/article will read, "Albemarle and City locked in the Dredging vs Dam Debate...Shots were fired at last night's meeting of the Water Board as once again the County and City came to blows over Dredging vs Dam. Meanwhile fines were levied against those who have refused to put covers over their rain barrels. Council members said that they hated to levy the fines since it's,'yer own dam fault if you drink water with bird poo in it, but we have to raise money for the 876th feasibility study. We have to be sure we get this right and after 70 years of trying we think we're close'..."

I just have to laugh when it comes to the water situation (dam vs dredge) and the traffic situation (meadow creek parkway) in this town. You have a handful of people, and I mean a handful, that think they know what is best for Charlottesville and Albemarle County. They probably got run out of the last town they lived in and we ended up with them! Somebody "PLEASE HELP US".... Take them back, PLEASE!

I don't get this correlation between liberal thinking when its conservative developers who are trying to shove a dam and more housing down our throats. This is NOT about politics for Christs sake, this is about big money throwing its weight around to get what it wants.

As long as the population grows there will never be enough water.Maybe in 50 years there wont be enough water to support it.
