It is a crime and a safety hazard for the public to do anything in public, on public land.

The government needs more tax dollars from the public, to prevent the public, from doing anything in public.

This is all for the public good.

Should be a 365 day a year inspection, if you see it, take it down.

365 days per year, of a dozen inspectors, who are paid $65k per year? No thanks.

I've rarely had the solicitor signs block my view of oncoming traffic before. When it happens, it's annoying, but by FAR the biggest visibility blockers are those ugly green hedges they put in shopping centers like by the Rio Hill Lowes. They look like garbage yet for some reason idiots think they "beautify" a huge antiseptic piece of asphault. Hell, even regular roadway signs block off visibility more than solicitor signs, which tend to be parallel to the roadways and so they take up less space when you're up on the intersection.

This sounds like another misallocation of funds by our retarded County officials. Either go after the real view blockers or just lay off.

"That kind of clutter is a distraction, so it becomes a safety issue for VDOT and for the public,"

Hell, the density of "legal" signage, including VDOT signage in some places is even covered by this statement.
